I come regularly and am never disappointed; the quality is there and it's always very good. That explains the queue sometimes.

I regularly get banh mi at Saigon; they're truly excellent! Despite being very busy, the service is always quick and efficient. The two people who work there are always very friendly.

Those who make banh mi should do an internship there because it's the complete opposite of what you're used to: it's good and inexpensive 😉

I used to live in Vietnam and eat banh mi every day. This is the best banh mi I've had in Europe.

Just look at the queue every lunchtime to understand why (sometimes I feel bad for the other banh mi places right next door where there's hardly anyone there...). The service is quick, though, and the welcome is always excellent. What really makes the difference is the quality of the baguette used, very fresh and crispy, and the excellent value for money. The size of the "Mega" sandwich (€7) is impressive: a baseball bat that two people can eat.

Excellent banh mi! The fresh bread is crispy, even eaten the next day for 2 minutes in the air fryer or on a stovetop, it's still just as good. I'll be back to try the other flavors. No seating, 100% takeout.

That guy with glasses was super hot, I can't even remember what the banh mi tasted like, I only had eyes for him. But it turned out perfectly, it was perfectly digested, so go for it! By the way, do you have a loyalty card? Do you deliver to Fribourg?
