Fast service, excellent pizza, and a relatively quiet place to relax after a stroll through the fairytale city.

In the Rue de la Couronne, a quiet cul-de-sac in Riquewihr where the town takes on a pleasantly tranquil atmosphere, lies A la Couronne with its charming blue building and numerous tables under parasols. Everything feels inviting, friendly, and relaxed. We arrived in the late afternoon, craving a light bite and a glass of local Riesling. We managed to find a free table, and wine, water, and a tarte flambée to share were quickly ordered. The service was friendly and attentive, and our drinks arrived promptly. The tarte flambée was served with additional small plates and cutlery – a simple yet thoughtful gesture that facilitated sharing and conveyed a lovely sense of consideration. And it tasted truly delicious: thin, crispy, and flavorful. So there we sat under the parasol, with a glass of Riesling and a delicious tarte flambée in front of us, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. A cozy and delightful visit that we thoroughly appreciated. We would gladly recommend this restaurant.

You can go there with your eyes closed! Great place!

Family of four, we had lunch at this place. It was nice to be out of the crowded main street and still enjoy sitting outside. We enjoyed our lunch and the service was good. The apple pie was amazing. Our daughter had the kid's meal and she loved the presentation.
