It was like dining in Italy, in Parma or Reggio. Everything was the same and delicious. Fabulous cured meats—we ordered top-notch culaccia—and the first courses were delicious. I chose an excellent eggplant parmigiana, followed by a traditional dessert, sbrisolona with zabaglione cream. Not the hard kind, but still crunchy and flavorful, paired with a fantastic zabaglione. The price was average for Cannes, but quality comes at a price, even in Italy.

Good food and a nice simple experience. I had the beef stew with mashed potatoes and a glass of prosecco — everything tasted really good. The portion wasn’t too big, which I actually liked. Nothing fancy, just solid, comforting food done well.
