Good Italian food, the real deal. Prices are quite reasonable. It's a shame there were almost no drinks left on the menu on a Saturday night… There was a long wait for dessert; they brought us two out of three, and the third (a tiramisu) arrived ten minutes later… Recommended address

The Margherita pizza at €14.50 was good but ridiculously small; big eaters beware! The red fruit panna cotta at €6.50 was very good. The restrooms were very clean. I recommend it.

We went for dinner and had a great meal. The restaurant is located in the heart of the nightlife and just a stone's throw from the Croisette. We had tomato meatballs with mashed potatoes, parmigiana, and tagliolini with truffle. The prices were standard for Cannes, but it's a shame we ordered four beers. I recommend it.

This isn't our first time at this small restaurant, but we were very disappointed by the three pizzas on offer, which were basically brioche-like dumplings piled high with poor-quality ham and chunks of cheese, for €18-20. Really not good... (apparently a Parma specialty?). The tiramisu for dessert was awful. We recommended this restaurant to some friends who were also very disappointed. Otherwise, no complaints! It kind of felt that we were rushed to finish the earliest time possible, so they could give the table away again. Freshly cut DOP meat is 5 stars, clearly. The lasagne was overcooked. Pasta with rahout was good. Parmigiano is not the quality you‘d expect.

We went to dinner at this restaurant on the evening of the fireworks with my friends from Alsace. I was showing them around Cannes, and I had chosen Salsamenteria di Parma. Just in case, I had made a reservation, which was confirmed, and I asked to be seated outside so we could enjoy the Cannes atmosphere and the lively atmosphere of Rue Meynadier. The waiters and waitresses were very pleasant and offered helpful advice. While they mostly spoke Italian, we managed to understand each other, and they were truly excellent at suggesting things. We shared a platter of IGP charcuterie, which we thoroughly enjoyed as an appetizer. For our main courses, we had chard ravioli, chard ravioli, pumpkin ravioli, meat ravioli, beef lasagna, and beef "Stracotto" served with hot polenta. My friends from Alsace, who ordered the fresh ravioli, were delighted by the flavors. For dessert, we had two gourmet coffees and two tiramisu. All accompanied by a very good Valpolicella wine. Everything was perfect! We told the waiter we weren't in a hurry, and we were able to enjoy our dinner for two and a half hours. A very good restaurant! And a real treat for the taste buds.

A very relaxing evening, exactly what we needed. All the dishes were delicious, but we saw other customers ordering profiteroles and couldn't resist—absolutely amazing! We will definitely return; you won't regret it. This is one of the oldest family-run restaurants in Cannes. We stayed in Cannes for a week and searched for this restaurant every day; I always want to return. This restaurant was recommended by a local, and it's the best restaurant in Cannes—that's for sure! The wine selection, the food, the staff, and the restaurant's location are incredible! I highly recommend it 🩷 Vesuvio is a true Cannes institution. You can't miss this iconic address, known to both locals and visitors. The food is generous, efficient, and predictable, with a menu that delivers in a lively, typically Cannes atmosphere. The service is professional despite the frequent crowds. A legendary spot, ideal for soaking up the Cannes atmosphere and sharing a great time, whether with friends, family, or as a couple.

03/09/2026: Food was good except for our Pizza order. We were a group of 8 and two of our group did not receive their pizza on time. It was after everyone finished his meal. Their excuses was there is no communication between the main kitchen and pizza one. The place is over rated.
