Everyone has their own tastes, but I was a little disappointed with the ramen. Their specialty is sushi, and I didn't try any, so you'll have to form your own opinion.

Hello. This was my first time at this restaurant with my niece, who already knew it. The place is unique, with bay windows overlooking a garden… and the air conditioning is definitely a plus right now. We received a wonderful welcome from the owner and then from the very charming waiter, whom we asked for some explanations about the lovely menu. He remained available and provided us with details about the different dishes. The food is exceptionally delicious. A delight for the taste buds. We are very, very happy with this discovery. Well done to the whole team. I highly recommend this establishment… pure bliss! 🥹 Best of luck! 😘

It's our annual tradition, and every time we're completely satisfied and delighted. For us, it's the best sushi restaurant in Besançon. A truly enjoyable experience. Thank you to the whole team!

Excellent service. I ordered a chirashi to take away which was delicious; the salmon pieces were incredibly tasty and generous. I highly recommend it! 👏

The setting is lovely and the waiter is very friendly. They do everything to offer their customers a wonderful experience. We were there for my sweetheart's birthday, and we'll cherish the memories of this restaurant.

02/07/2026: Excellent value for money (€15.50 for lunch on weekdays!). Yes, the dining room and terrace are small, but it's a city center restaurant, nothing unusual. The food is fresh and good, and the manager is very friendly. I'll be back.
29/06/2026: The staff are very attentive and, above all, the food is truly excellent! You can tell they put a lot of effort into it; what's available is absolutely delicious!

21/05/2026: We come here at least once a month and often with our child. An old restaurant (I was a young child when it opened!!), which has a nice Japanese decor with cheesy music. It is on a side street too so on warmer days they open the windows which is nice. The sushi is very good, their brochettes are excellent, and surprisingly their ramen (which isn't really their speciality) is delicious and not expensive (take in mind the place has multiple ramen places surrounding it). I read about the cold service here, for me it's the charm, there is a very friendly person who cuts the fish when you come in, an older man who doesn't smile nor speak much who serves you (I saw him smile once, I did!), a lady who is extremely friendly but isn't there often, and the owner who is very nice and tolerant also with our child who can run wild sometimes after eating. My single gripe is it can be pricey for some things you order. This is our go to place for sushi, Roquette has so much choice for Asian cuisine, this place is one of the first and still one of the best.
