This is a little gem of a hold in the wall, serving delicious freshly made udon in many styles. The lines are long, but go fast and are well worth the wait!

The first time I ordered the fried chicken and scrambled egg udon noodles, they were delicious! The second time I ordered the beef udon noodles, which were also tasty but a bit bland.

I came here both on weekday and weekend about 7pm, the line was long and I had to wait for 30 minutes. However, the food was deserved to be waited for, the noodle was chewy and the broth was perfect.

My friend said it was the best restaurant of their life, but to me, it just tasted like the broth from Saengsaeng Udon haha. Still, the fried shrimp and burdock root rice were delicious.
However, I wouldn't recommend the pork cutlet because it was way too dry.
I sat at the bar, and it was a bit memorable to see them constantly putting rice in and taking it out to ensure the correct portion size...
It's decent enough to visit, but I recommend going right when they open so you don't have to wait too long.

I ordered the simple niku udon, and while the noodles themselves were just okay, the broth was the highlight. It was incredibly delicious and rich with beef flavor, so I ended up drinking every last drop. We also tried the chicken karaage, which was perfectly juicy, though nothing out of the ordinary.
Be prepared for a lineup and make sure your entire party is present before you check in. Honestly, between the high price point and the "just okay" noodle texture, I don’t think it’s quite worth the long wait. It’s a solid meal if you can walk right in.

After spending two months in Japan, I was still searching for that distinctive taste of the udon I ate there, and it was in this restaurant that I found it!! Soft noodles, a clear, well-seasoned broth, a perfect egg, typical accompaniments (daikon, tororo, umeboshi, natto, kitsune...), the tempura wasn't too greasy, perfectly crispy and full of flavor, and that tamagoyaki is still haunting my thoughts :D In short: go for it! Just hearing the cooks speaking Japanese amongst themselves is a good sign! :)
