The most delicious restaurant I went to in Paris wasn't a Michelin-starred one, nor was it some fancy course meal; it was Sanukiya.
It felt like I was in Japan. T_T I want to eat there again...
If you come during peak dining hours, I think there will definitely be a wait.
I was lucky enough to get in without waiting, but even though it was around 3:30 or 4:00, a line formed as soon as I sat down.
Still, the turnover seems pretty fast, so if the line isn't too long, I think it's worth giving it a try.

Everything is very good, I think, but especially the Tenzaru udon with shrimp and vegetable dumplings. I've been going there for years and it's always consistently good.
Please note: closed from August 2nd until mid-August 2026. Check before you go.

It was my third time there and it never disappoints. Don't get scared about the line, they are very quick and have a good system to get everyone in, in a reasonable time. Quality is excellent and consistent. Best udon!

The warm udon was really good.
The noodles were perfectly cooked, and I had a nice, cold glass of beer!

I revisit this place every time I come to Paris. The udon noodles are really delicious. Everything on the menu was tasty, no matter what I ordered.
