The only saving grace was the extremely friendly staff. The ramen was lukewarm and the egg was questionable. I expected better.

There's hardly any wait between 12 and 1 p.m., we go there often because it's close to the office.
The portions are generous and the taste is great too!

This restaurant is located in a pretty cool Japanese restaurant district. I go there occasionally with friends because the menu offers a wide selection of dishes that everyone enjoys.
I personally opt for the Tori Paiko Ramen, which is ramen with fried chicken. The broth is just thick enough, and the toppings complement each other well. It's a shame that the fried chicken is sometimes already soggy before the dish even comes out.
The atmosphere varies depending on the time of day, and the seats can be uncomfortable at times. My only minor complaint is the chopsticks, which are extremely unpleasant to use; you can easily get a thorn in your finger.
If you're ever in the area, it's still a cool place to try!

A true institution on Rue Sainte-Anne, Sapporo is one of those Parisian spots you keep returning to whenever you're craving a truly comforting, generous, and unpretentious bowl of ramen. The atmosphere is reminiscent of lively little Japanese eateries: it's bustling, vibrant, and the aroma of simmering broths and grilled gyoza wafts through the door.
The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable for the neighborhood, and the service is quick even when it's busy. Special mention goes to the golden and crispy gyoza, absolutely delicious, as well as the fragrant ramen that's perfect for rainy days or after a long walk through Paris. You don't come here for luxurious decor or a sophisticated gastronomic experience, but rather for the simple and effective authenticity that makes the place so charming. An iconic address in Paris's "Little Tokyo," perfect for a warm, generous, and utterly comforting meal.

The food was really good, especially the curry. The staff was incredibly kind and understanding, since as we sat down and were waiting for our food we saw two baby cockroaches crawling on our table, which usually means there are others around. The staff offered for us to change table and gave us free drinks, and they were super apologetic, and we know it’s not their fault, but it did ruin the experience and was quite disgusting and made me wonder what condition the kitchen was in. We were moved to a different table yet the hygiene issues were still there, streaks of brown stuff on the floor, there were dirty pillows covering the seats… the restaurant is just old and needs some cleaning up and restoration. It’s truly a shame because I’ve been to Japan and the curry was the best I’ve had in the area, but I hope this place can improve with hygiene.
