The service was very friendly, the carbonade was good, probably like it's reputation, but the fries were less good and the dessert was average, in total we were less impressed

What can I say! AWARD WINNING carbonnade flamande! And it was absolutely delicious. The food was soooo tasty, generous portions, lovely non alcoholic cocktails and the mushroom butter... Such attention to detail, well thought out menu, produce of the area and I really want to go back. The atmosphere was brilliant with 80/90s music, decor and such. The lovely thing also, were the people. Warm, welcoming and friendly. We do like a chat too. So, thank you. We will be back.

We wanted to try this world-champion carbonnade, and we're so glad we did! We received a very warm welcome, first from the chef himself and then from his partner. It didn't take long to realize their passion for what they do. The charming decor, filled with numerous vintage objects, evoked fond memories. It's no surprise, then, to discover the culinary experience that followed: a traditional dish revisited with subtle, personal touches of modernity. We thoroughly enjoyed it, understood the title, and left completely satisfied. Go without hesitation and treat yourself!

A truly excellent experience that goes far beyond the traditional "good meal." The chef offers so much more! First, the setting: magnificent, with a terrace adjoining a lovely park. Then, the warm and simple welcome from the chef's wife, which sets the tone for what's to come. Next comes the tricky part: choosing the dishes. Everything is tempting and full of promise. For my part, I was seduced by the perfect egg, the salmon à la belle vue, and the dessert of the day, the chocolate/passion fruit tart. What more can I say than that everything was excellent, with meticulous presentation? High-quality ingredients, a perfect balance of flavors, elements that complement each other beautifully. Special mention goes to the chocolate/passion fruit tart, where the passion fruit gel kicks off the chocolate ganache, and the small ice cream adds a touch of sweetness... in short, a truly delightful balancing act that concludes this exceptional meal. The chef's skill, generosity, and desire to convey emotion through his dishes are evident, and confirmed when he takes the time to greet us at our table. Thank you for this delightful experience, which we hope will be repeated!
