Impeccable service, but a major disappointment on the plate. I came for the Flemish carbonnade, crowned world champion in 2025, but the title is likely to fall this year. The cooking was very inconsistent (one piece was perfect, another as tough as shoe leather), the fries were undercooked, and the portion of sauce was far too small to finish the dish. As for the chocolate-orange mousse, I didn't know a mousse could melt like ice cream when served lukewarm... Thank you to the waitstaff for their friendliness and hospitality, but the bill simply didn't add up.

Perfect, an exceptional discovery.
The welcome was a ray of sunshine.
The cuisine was exceptional, a 10 out of 10.
I highly recommend it.
Delicious dishes. Pleasant setting.

The service was very friendly, the carbonade was good, probably like it's reputation, but the fries were less good and the dessert was average, in total we were less impressed

What can I say! AWARD WINNING carbonnade flamande! And it was absolutely delicious. The food was soooo tasty, generous portions, lovely non alcoholic cocktails and the mushroom butter... Such attention to detail, well thought out menu, produce of the area and I really want to go back. The atmosphere was brilliant with 80/90s music, decor and such. The lovely thing also, were the people. Warm, welcoming and friendly. We do like a chat too. So, thank you. We will be back.

We wanted to try this world-champion carbonnade, and we're so glad we did! We received a very warm welcome, first from the chef himself and then from his partner. It didn't take long to realize their passion for what they do. The charming decor, filled with numerous vintage objects, evoked fond memories. It's no surprise, then, to discover the culinary experience that followed: a traditional dish revisited with subtle, personal touches of modernity. We thoroughly enjoyed it, understood the title, and left completely satisfied. Go without hesitation and treat yourself!
