Another reservation at Scratch restaurant, a year after our first experience! Saturday morning, while strolling downtown under a beautiful sunny sky, we impulsively decided to book a table for two for lunch that very day. And so, we found ourselves spending another wonderful and delightful time together in this superb restaurant! The dishes presented to us on the "Le 6" menu, complemented by the wine pairing, were all excellent and bursting with surprising flavors. The suggested wine paired perfectly with each dish, and we took the opportunity to jot down some excellent bottle recommendations. A true delight for the taste buds! The only proof I have is that the only photos we managed to take and send to our daughters were of our plates emptied and completely covered in sauce. And above all, the staff is incredibly pleasant, welcoming, and always smiling! An experience to be repeated... of course!

We were lucky enough to book at the last minute. Unfortunately, we were seated in the middle, which was a bit of a shame since there were several seats available behind us. We chose the four-course tasting menu. The portions were quite small, even though the flavors were original and sometimes surprising. Since it's a surprise menu, you should expect to encounter some ingredients or combinations that you might not particularly like. Overall, the experience was interesting, but we would recommend choosing the six-course tasting menu to better appreciate the different options and have a more satisfying portion size.

We had the privilege of dining at Scratch Restaurant last Friday evening with my sweetheart, and it's a visit we'll cherish for a long time. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with remarkable warmth and professionalism, but it was truly the attentive presence of Alexandre, our server, that transformed this meal into a truly unforgettable gastronomic experience. Alexandre possesses an impressive knowledge of every dish on the menu. He didn't simply list the options, but took the time to explain the culinary techniques, the premium ingredients used, and above all, the philosophy behind each of the chef's creations. It's rare to encounter such a passionate and knowledgeable professional who can truly guide his guests. What particularly struck us was his expertise in food and wine pairings. Alexandre suggested wine selections that perfectly complemented each dish, explaining the aromas, the terroirs, and why these wines enhanced our palates. His recommendations were relevant and very well-reasoned—it was clear he truly knew his stuff. Throughout the meal, Alexandre struck the perfect balance between discretion and attentiveness. He was always there when we needed him, without being intrusive. He anticipated our requests with thoughtful care, pouring our drinks at the perfect moment, clearing our plates smoothly, and regularly checking that everything was to our satisfaction. The service was impeccable – prompt, courteous, and genuinely kind. Alexandre created such a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere that time seemed to fly by. At the end of the meal, we found ourselves wondering where the hours had gone! The quality of the food matched the service. Each dish was a culinary work of art, flavorful and beautifully presented. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the textures harmonious, and the chef's meticulous work and passion were evident in every bite. This restaurant more than deserves its excellent reputation. It's a place where gastronomy and outstanding service go hand in hand. We will definitely be back, and we will warmly recommend Scratch Restaurant to all our friends and family who appreciate good food and truly excellent service. What a great place! Never disappointed. Excellent food and service.

We've been a few times, and each time the service is impeccable, precise, and understated. The dishes unfold one after another, sometimes reaching truly exceptional heights (a tomato tartare to die for was on the menu recently). There's a wide variety of colors and flavors, and you end up with just the right amount. I really appreciate the attention paid to dietary restrictions and limitations. To those who complain about the value for money: come during the week; it's really worth it. It also seems logical to me to pay for expertise, a professional touch, and carefully selected, seasonal ingredients. Scratch isn't my regular haunt, but it's a very good restaurant for a little (or big!) treat now and then. Enjoy!
