The welcome was typically distant and condescending, typical of trendy restaurants (no reservation? A 3-minute wait for no apparent reason, only to be given a table from several available ones). In short, the usual and regrettable way of being received at these establishments. A warm welcome with a smile and the same wait time would have been appreciated.
On the other hand, John provided impeccable and very attentive service throughout the evening, despite a torrential downpour that forced the terrace diners to be moved inside. John even seated us at a lovely table to enjoy our dessert and wait out the deluge! A successful Sénéquier experience thanks to him!

A little disappointed with the service compared to previous experiences.
Breakfast was served at a large table, without tablecloths, unlike previous years, for the same food.
That made all the difference and justified the price… It was much more pleasant than a small table where we were crammed in… It gave an impression of neglect… It's a real shame!

Passing through Saint-Tropez for the day, we chose Le Senequier for lunch. Established in 1887, we came for its history and the local culture.
Despite the queue at the entrance, we were seated quickly. The service was very efficient, and the staff were pleasant and competent. The food was delicious. It's a pleasant place to be in the heat (the water misters were a welcome touch).
