We went to eat ice cream (family of 5) in Bayeux and were really delighted with this place. The kindness of the waiters/waitresses, pleasant terrace and the places are clean (wc). The homemade ice creams on site were enjoyed by all 5 of us.

Very good pancakes! I recommend the chef's galette which was well presented with its Camembert and the gourmet coffee for a touch of indulgence!

Excellent ice cream, homemade too. Surely the best ice cream parlor in Bayeux. Very pretty back terrace. The pancakes are good, the pancakes too. Generous scoops of ice cream. To do with your eyes closed.

Nous devions manger en une heure et cela a été possible 🎀 Restaurant très bon assez rapide et le personnel était super agréable ! Je vous le conseil vivement !

12/09/2024: We had the French Onion Soup and Pepper Steak & Frites and they were both fantastic.
11/09/2024: Best restaurant in France. Certainly my favourite. Great authentic food, superb atmosphere, great friendly service. Been coming here for a few years during my annual trip to Normandy. I don't bother with the other restaurants in Bayeux, they're overpriced and not that great. The '44 Calvados liqueur is to die for.

Maison Lemoisson

04/07/2024: We got breakfast here for 2 days. Very friendly and wonderful variety and quality. The mini quiches were wonderful, along with all the pastries we tried.
26/06/2024: For me no visit to France is complete without a Religieuse from a good patisserie, my wife feels the same about her Tartellette aux fruits. Maison Lemoisson did not disappoint! The bread and sandwiches are also excellent. Though the choice of sandwiches goes down after about 1pm as they are all fresh. Service was super and cheerful (they humoured my desire to use my somewhat imperfect French). One not to miss if you are in Bayeux.
