Authentic Turkish place serving delicious food. Service is friendly and interior is like being in a Turkish tavern. Definitely recommended if you want Turkish cuisine.

A nice surprise! A discreet entrance that hides a treasure. It’s very good, it’s very filling. Turkish cuisine at its best while staying in Paris. The luxury of cooking with wood. Friendly welcome. Another surprise is this very pleasant wine.

Nothing to say about the dishes, good, copious, served quickly. Atmosphere spoiled and dampened by the waiter (boss?) who yelled at his cook for burning a dish. Fix your problems internally, not in front of your customers. People didn't linger and left quickly.

A restaurant that doesn't look like much but is very good overall. Some of the products are clearly canned at the base, but the wood-fired grills are great, as are the mezze.

04/09/2024: Services are held during the week in addition to Shabbat. Welcoming in the heart of the ghetto.
31/08/2024: This place was DELICIOUS! I am a big fan of cheese fondue, and this was my first fondue in Paris. Absolutely amazing...another great part, was they allowed me to get fondue by myself. I travel alone, and many fondue restaurants were 2 person minimum. Pain Vin Fromage had fondue for 1. Also, this place is not on a main road in France. It is tucked away in a little alley off a back road in Paris. That is how you know the food is good. I know in the US, places off the main paths often make the best food. Pain Vin Fromage is a small, cozy, place. Great for couples, families, group of friends, and lone travelers. Thank you, so much for an unforgettable experience! I will be back when I return to Paris at some point.

L'Auberge D'Chez Eux

10/07/2025: Highly recommend and will visit again. We visited for a late lunch on a beautiful sunny afternoon. The food was outstanding, as well as the service. Our server Ryan was attentive, polite and prompt. We ordered a tomato salad and escargot for starters, steak and fish of the day as main dishes and the pear tart for dessert.
06/07/2025: Those sensitive to air conditioning may want to mention this early on. At our request, it was switched on and off several times. The restaurant wasn't bad overall; the rack of lamb could have been better (Hotel Bebber in Aachen), the steak was good, the pepper sauce a bit thin but spicy. The fried frog legs must have been frozen; they tasted OK, but a bit too much fat/oil. The recommended tomato salad—admittedly not small—was very good, but at €26, it was the most expensive we've ever eaten. The Tronquoy Lanlande 2012 is highly recommended.
