Recommended! Coming one afternoon somewhat by chance to this brasserie a stone's throw from the city center, on a pretty square, we had nothing but good surprises. Warm and attentive welcome, fast and attentive service, friendly atmosphere, apparently quite a few regulars, excellent and very generous salad, delicious dessert, everything is there. We leave with the desire to come back very quickly!

The place, the atmosphere, the cuisine, everything is excellent! One of the best Welsh in Lille anyway! It’s really our little midday nugget. Special mention to the waitresses who are all super nice 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Côté restaurant : très bonne brasserie, plat copieux, service rapide et large choix de plats et boissons Côté bar : prix tout à fait raisonnable, serveur efficace et chaleureux Cadre classique lillois !

Good choice of beers, friendly bartenders and good atmosphere! Too bad there is only one toilet, I spent a significant part of my evening waiting in line.

Novotel Lille Centre Gares Restaurant

24/09/2024: The hotel is very close to the city center. There is a parking garage in the adjacent train station. The hotel's restaurant and lobby are pleasant. Breakfast was pretty good. There was no toilet paper in the room (to be precise - there were two nearly finished rolls). However, the receptionist provided a roll upon request.
24/09/2024: Location is central but ventilation is very poor. Air conditioning did not work in the entire hotel for 3 days and nothing was done about it. Very unfortunate to have to sleep in a closed room at temperatures that are too high.
