We came for a table for three without a reservation and were very warmly welcomed. Nice little terrace, good atmosphere. We ordered the truffade, which was excellent, as were the blueberry sorbet and the Dame Blanche for dessert. We ate our fill. I recommend this place!

Good place: the pizzas are very good. Good service. It's a nice change from the usual truffade to weekday meals in Murol!

The thin pizza crust was perfect, and the portion was generous. The menu is impressive. The breaded chicken strips were superb. Everything was homemade.

Takeaway pizzas. Overall, they were good, the ingredients were decent and they weren't dripping with oil. The only downside was that the pizza maker should clean the oven more regularly during service: the flour residue used to shape the dough (spolverina?) was burnt, which left a residue on the pizzas as they baked, giving them a burnt taste. A shame.

Le domaine du Lac

14/07/2026: A pleasant stay in a cottage at the Domaine du Lac campsite on the shores of Lake Chambon. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a wide range of activities available, including the campsite's swimming pool and Lake Chambon (accessible directly from the campsite), the campsite restaurant by the lake, the hiking trails all around, and the evening entertainment offered by the campsite. We were delighted and will definitely return. One minor drawback: the lack of cell service in and around the cottage made it difficult to plan hikes or check exam results. On the plus side, it allowed us to disconnect! ;)
12/07/2026: Friendly place. The cabins coule be maintained a bit better but perfectly acceptable for the price.
