Disappointed with this 3-star hotel despite its good location.

A typical Ibis hotel in a good, convenient location, allowing for a quick walk to Besançon's old town. The rooms are clean, air-conditioned, and quiet. The breakfast buffet is small but excellent, offering something for everyone. The service is friendly.

A pleasant and relaxing stay in the peace and comfort of the room. The staff were very attentive and always available. I recommend this hotel.

The Hôtel Ibis Besançon La City is particularly appealing due to its excellent location right on the edge of the old town. Many sights, restaurants, and shops are within easy walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. The breakfast buffet is decent and offers everything you need for a good start to the day, without being particularly outstanding. I was less impressed with the bathroom, which is a typical plastic cubicle. It feels somewhat basic and doesn't quite match the otherwise tidy impression of the hotel. Overall, a good hotel for a city break in Besançon with a very good location and friendly service.

repeated guest to this hotel , always a happy and positive stay . Very friendly and helpful staff , clean room ,clima ( very important) . I would love a bit easier and constant wifi connection ( i had to reconnect each day but it might had been a mistake i did during connection ) , other than that nothing to comment . Till next time , higlhy recommended

Everything would be fine if the advertised amenities were provided; there was no shower gel or soap in the containers hanging on the wall! So, be prepared like I was, and you'll be able to wash... Otherwise, the room was quiet, the bed comfortable, and the welcome very friendly.

The hotel was perfect in every way; I had a very good night's sleep. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and quiet.

A generous breakfast, an affordable and recommendable restaurant, and of course the superb Ibis mattresses make this hotel a great choice. I'd gladly stay here again!

Located near Besançon city center, it's easily accessible on foot. From the train station, it's just 4 or 5 stops away on tram lines T1 and T2, which is very convenient. The rooms are perfectly adequate, and the breakfast is plentiful and varied. The staff is helpful, even if they don't know much about wine 😅 It's not the hotel of the year, but we'll definitely be back.
