Classic cuisine in a classic setting. A very warm welcome nonetheless. A reliable choice, but without any frills.

We had a wonderful evening at the tavern. The Friday menu with drinks included is fantastic! The four courses to choose from were delicious. There were eight of us, and everyone found something they loved. The friendly service is always impeccable! As a bonus, we got a tour of the second dining room and the garden—we can't wait for warmer weather! Whether you're at the front or the back, the restaurant is very welcoming. A very pleasant evening! Thank you.

The meal was very good value for money, although I'm not a big fan of the starter buffet.

I highly recommend this restaurant for a great family meal. The food is delicious, so much so that the kids kept asking for seconds of soup! The service is impeccable.

La Taverne, a restaurant I frequented more than often, 23 years ago. After moving from the North of France, I had the great joy of meeting the owners again at a family meal held there. It was a great pleasure to meet Vanessa in the dining room, very cheerful, professional, and caring, as she always has been. In the kitchen, the dishes met the highest standards, a real treat. The cuisine and the service were meticulous and of high quality. Bravo to you and your young server, just like you. A great evening. See you soon on your next trip to the North.
