I've been coming here for several years; teppanyaki remains a must-visit in Old Lyon for great food and a fun atmosphere, thanks to the chef and his wife. I highly recommend it, whether you're a couple or a group of friends.

The day I went, the power went out and they charged me extra for bottles of water that I didn't ask for or drink, just because they had already opened it.

Worth a try. If you read the reviews, you'll see that the place has a unique sense of humor and a meal that's part of a show. It's definitely not something to take lightly… If you enjoy "H"-style humor (for those who get the reference), you're in the right place!
So, you need to be fairly open-minded and take the time to enjoy the experience. Even if you're not entirely comfortable with it, just communicate and let the very friendly chef know.
Personally, I really enjoyed everything, especially the meal, although for the price, the portions could have been more generous…

We came for dinner last night, and we loved it! We had a really great time, the food was delicious, and we had a good laugh thanks to the chef who kept the atmosphere lively throughout the meal. If you have some time and want to spend an evening out of the ordinary, don't hesitate!

We stumbled upon this restaurant on a whim, after 10 pm. How lucky we were! We were the only table and got to enjoy the chef's company all evening. Beyond the food, which was simply delicious, we spent the evening laughing thanks to the chef's larger-than-life personality.
Thank you to him for this unforgettable evening, and don't listen to the negative reviews—those people just have no sense of humor!
We can't wait to go back!
