Lovely place with friendly staff. Kitchen folks are heroes, we had a couple Poutines (chicken and pulled pork with the latter being our favourite) and the entrecote with peppercorn sause. Fantastic value and taste for the money. Chefs kiss. We stumbled during the 2026 olympic hockey quarter finals and the atmosphere was cracking. Nothing roudy but energetic and loud. As a couple that rarely does anything with sports, it was great group to join in the energy.

Fantastic experience! The decor is really nice and cool; you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The service is quick and efficient, yet still friendly. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and generously portioned. Special mention to the staff and the "La Québécoise" beer 😂. I highly recommend it.

I'll definitely go back when it's open; the atmosphere looks really nice. A Canadian pub must be worth a visit! At least from the outside, yes ;)

Everything was perfect for a great birthday. Cold beer served instantly, friends around—the only thing missing was baseball on TV, but it's not baseball season yet. See you soon! 👋

A wonderful discovery while passing by. Good food reminiscent of Canada with its poutine. Just a stone's throw from Notre Dame.

The Great Canadian is a great bar to meet other people traveling through Paris. The food is great and the service was amazing. One of the bartenders named Lou (I think) was great, she is very attentive asking how the food is and making sure you have everything you need. The stereotype of dry and rude servers in Paris absolutely does not apply to her. She was very kind and made us feel welcomed. It has a great vibe and great for watching sports and talking to people. I highly suggest The Great Canadian if you get the opportunity to go.

If you are trying to watch NFL games, they play the audio here! So I highly recommend for the pub/bar watching style, so come thru and support them! The kitchen does close early tho

Random stop on a walk, wlbeing Canadian, and seeing the poutine, an attempt was made ,overall was a nice stop, appies were good and beer cold :)
