The food was excellent. The real highlight, however, is the enormous cakes in the refrigerated display case. They alone are worth a visit. Ideally, you might even spot a guest devouring a 20 cm high slice of cake.

A great experience at this restaurant. The staff was helpful and the food was very good (buckwheat galette). The prices are very reasonable. They also have cakes and plenty of other desserts. I recommend it.

The cakes are impressive and look delicious! However, we ordered galettes, which were good galettes and reasonably priced for St Malo Intra-muros :)!

We were drawn in by the storefront and its magnificent cakes, each one looking more delicious than the last. The menu is varied, with something for everyone. I had a Morbier burger, which was delicious—the bun was soft and the cheese perfectly melted. The fries were probably frozen, but still good. I highly recommend ordering dessert, as the selection is not only huge but also incredibly delicious. I personally had a tarte tatin, which was absolutely divine. I found the restaurant a bit pricey, but then again, it's Saint-Malo.

13/06/2026: Amazing restaurant! We were seated upstairs because they were full, but they still treated us like royalty. The staff were very friendly and the food was simply delicious. I highly recommend it.
02/06/2026: We had a wonderful meal at La Malouinière. Flavie gave us a truly exceptional welcome; she was very attentive and absolutely lovely. Thank you, Flavie! The seafood sauerkraut was the best I've ever had. A real delight. Bravo and thank you to the chef.

13/06/2026: A very good restaurant with a good selection. The service was attentive yet discreet. The fish was cooked perfectly, prepared tableside. The only slight drawback was the soufflé pancake, which was a bit cloying; the meringue overpowered the pancake, which was barely noticeable. The small amuse-bouche was a nice touch.
06/06/2026: Flawless. Impeccable service. Sophisticated and high-quality dishes. The Emerald menu offered excellent value for money. A refined setting with breathtaking sea views. Wine by the glass was very reasonably priced for the restaurant's standard. I will gladly return.
