Excellent cuisine and fast service in a pleasant and welcoming setting. People come to restaurants to experiment, to discover flavors and dishes they wouldn't make at home. And they succeeded, well done! Special mention to the rice pudding, a culinary orgasm.

Superb restaurant with a direct ocean view 🌊 I received a very warm welcome, the service was incredibly fast, and the dishes were exquisite. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and loved the relaxed atmosphere. Thank you and congratulations to the entire team 😊

We had a wonderful time with my sons. We booked online the day before. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert! A must-visit, right by the sea, at the foot of the port of Guéthary 👍

Fantastic! We came with colleagues last night, and I wasn't expecting such high quality, thinking the view would be the restaurant's main draw. And indeed, the view is breathtaking! The dining room, like a greenhouse, is very, very pleasant! (The only thing I would mention, out of perfectionism, is that the "greenhouse" windows could use a little cleaning.) But honestly, everything was wonderful: the welcome, the waitress was lovely, helpful, discreet, and polite. The food was simply fantastic from start to finish, with no long wait for the quality of the dishes! I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful time! The welcome was perfect, all the staff were smiling and attentive, right down to the thoughtful touch of providing hats for sun protection. The dishes, from the appetizers to the desserts, were delicious, bold, and flavorful. They arrived quickly, even though the terrace was full. The view of the ocean and the surfers is superb! The restrooms were clean and well-maintained: a detail that makes all the difference! In short, flawless. I would gladly return and recommend it without hesitation. After a quick tour of the town, it seemed to me that this was the restaurant in Guéthary to satisfy your taste buds.

02/07/2026: A memorable stop at Briketenia, a one-Michelin-star restaurant in the beautiful Basque village of Guéthary, France. Once again, I was pleasantly surprised by how accommodating they were. Even though I called only that morning, they happily prepared a vegan tasting menu and found me a table for the afternoon. This was also my first experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant where the service was noticeably slower than expected. It was clear they were dealing with a staff shortage, which extended the dinner by about an hour. These things happen - even at the best restaurants - and the team sincerely apologised at the end of the meal. The cuisine focuses on local, seasonal ingredients, and during my visit it was asparagus and fresh pea season. Both featured prominently throughout the menu, showcasing just how incredible simple, fresh produce can be when treated with care and creativity. The seven-course tasting menu was €134 per person.
13/06/2026: A fantastic spot, facing the Three Crowns and La Rhune mountain. Excellent service and delicious dishes that will tantalize your taste buds. The Basque Country on your plate in a dreamlike setting. So go for it.
