Ty Cosy sur Concarneau

Actually blown away! The warmest welcome we have received in France followed by the best food we have had EVER. You’ve read it here if I win the lottery this is my party place It feels like a family run place everyone is friendly and although our French is poor it didn’t make a difference we felt welcome and comfortable. We shared a melted Camembert starter & putting balsamic on the rind made it even better My wife had a mixed fish dish and her smoked mackerel was delicious. My hake was also out of this world. Pudding g was the crumble and chocolate fondue followed by a delicious coffee. There was some lovely banter with the owners. Why are you looking to eat anywhere else? You may walk past as we did and go to a busy bar nearby but there’s a reason this restaurant is fully booked and they shoehorned us in on the outside but their warmth didn’t make it cold!

Great restaurant on a human scale, delicious homemade dishes with a small mention for the chef's hake!! A very pleasant and smiling welcome from all the staff We will come back with pleasure!!

Very nice evening. Unfortunately we arrived at the restaurant 20 minutes late, but we were still warmly welcomed. The food was very tasty and the service was very accommodating and also spoke English very well. If we are in Concarneau again, we would love to come back!!

De passage sur Concarneau (ville que je connais bien pour avoir séjourné à quelques kilomètres, plusieurs mois par an de 2014 à 2022) curieusement connaissant pas mal d'endroits sur le port et la Ville Close, je n'avais jamais poussé les portes du Ty Cosy et je le regrette aujourd'hui, car le lieu, l'accueil, et les mets proposés sont au top. De nouveau de passage sur le secteur, j'ai (enfin) réservé dans ce petit resto sympa face à la Ville Close. Pour ce diner du lundi 18 mars dernier à deux, nous avons opté pour la carte, après l'apéro, autour d'une coupe de Champagne et d'un Whisky Breton avec amuse-bouche bien sympa (rillettes de thon et petits toasts grillés), 6 huitres en entrée pour chacun des deux convives, puis une aile de raie et une poëlée de Saint-Jacques fondue de poireaux, à suivre, puis Far maison aux pommes et jus de pommes sur le dessert. 50 cl de Muscadet pour le vin, plus une 50 cl d'eau gazeuse. Le tout excellent, un service sympa du patron, un cadre top et des mets frais et bien cuisinés, bref à refaire sans hésiter, une addition globale de 120,50 euros en adéquation avec la prestation proposée.
