Un Chef en Cuisine sur Bethune

Due to a delivery issue, an employee called to inform me that the menu would be limited. There were four of us, and when we arrived at the restaurant, the selection was even more limited than expected. The quality of the food was disappointing: the dauphinoise potatoes were undercooked, the potatoes were black, the filet mignon was not very appetizing, and the crème brûlée was completely dry and cold for dessert. Perhaps we just had an off night; it was our first and last experience.

A true gem! The cocktails are simply divine! Every sip was a pure delight, perfectly balanced and refreshing. I started with a delicious baked egg, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Then, I enjoyed some absolutely delicious salmon pasta: the dish was succulent, wonderfully prepared, and generous. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care put into the cooking. And to finish, a chocolate fondant for dessert… pure bliss. Perfectly melt-in-your-mouth, indulgent, and irresistible. The waitress was very professional and attentive. I had the pleasure of chatting with the chef and the cook, both incredibly passionate and dedicated. They bring remarkable precision and creativity to every dish. Their camaraderie and love for cooking are evident in every bite, making this restaurant truly unique. I really don't understand why this restaurant isn't more widely known. It deserves far more recognition. A superb discovery that I recommend without hesitation!

A superb Valentine's Day evening at the Orangerie in Béthune with my sweetheart. We received a wonderful welcome from smiling waitresses who, despite their young age, clearly knew their stuff. We enjoyed a delicious house cocktail, a beautifully presented starter of salmon roses, toasted bread, and lamb's lettuce, a very tasty main course, and a superb dessert. Kudos to the small team of young people who welcome, serve, and delight us. We had a fantastic evening. We'll definitely be back.

I went to eat with friends; the dishes were beautifully presented, the decor magnificent, and the servers were very attentive. I highly recommend it!
