Vars Coquillages sur Vars

18/08/2024: Having come to stay one night in this establishment, we first appreciated the privileged setting. We reached the place using our car, even though they offered to pick us up at the station. Arriving at 3 p.m., this gave us time to go for a walk in the surrounding area. We were able to see marmots everywhere. The room offered had a beautiful view of the mountains and although simple it was perfect. Note that I was pleasantly surprised to find at this altitude a bathroom with enough pressure and hot water to take a good shower. Our meals (dinner and breakfast) were taken on site. Everything was good and plentiful, for a very reasonable price considering the location and conditions. Finally, we appreciated the welcome and sympathy of the entire team. We will return there this winter as a family.

08/08/2024: The spot is great and the food is good. However, the prices are excessive: €27 for a bacon burger, which is a shame. I can understand inflation, but the end customer cannot and should not absorb everything. So, I stick to a simple dish without dessert. It ruins the vacation experience a bit.
