A superb 9-course tasting menu. A wealth of flavors and originality. A lovely wine list at reasonable prices. Friendly and attentive service. The chef was kind enough to greet us and even prepared a surprise birthday cake. Well worth a detour to St Julien en Chapteuil!

The four-course meal might not be suitable for those with small appetites ;-) The noise level can sometimes be a bit high when all the tables are talking together. A superb restaurant.

Bistro: no local equivalent for the price-quality ratio.

It's a shame to mix such inconspicuous groups in the same room.

5 stars because this region, this village, this establishment deserve nothing less. More objectively: Family lunch, warm and inviting atmosphere, servers who could use more staff, beautifully presented dishes with delightful surprises. The restaurant's trajectory towards a Michelin star seems to be progressing well since my last visits. Thank you to the third generation of the Vidal family for this enjoyable experience.

L’Estaminet

03/06/2026: A particularly welcoming waitress who made me feel right at home. A set menu for €18.50 with two choices for the starter, main course, and dessert. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. A place to remember! €20 including a coffee—absolutely perfect.
16/05/2026: A wonderful time and excellent food. The service was exceptional! Thank you for this meal.
