It was a good experience to eat at why not. The food was well prepared and beautifully presented. The service was a bit stiff and the room a bit cold.
There are different chairs in the restaurant, and some of the chairs are not suitable for sitting on for a few hours.
The price includes a good bottle of champagne, which is part of eating at a restaurant in Épernay.

Passing through the area, we stumbled upon Why Not by chance. And what a happy coincidence! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is quick and efficient. We opted for the rack of lamb and the steak tartare. The latter was seasoned right in front of us, and it was absolutely delicious. Probably one of the best I've ever had. Thank you again.

I was sightseeing in Epernay and came across this restaurant.
Everything from appetizers to dessert was so elaborately prepared and delicious that it would be a shame to only order the main course.
That said, if you order everything you'll be full, so it might be best to share the dessert at the end.
The staff recommended the perfect champagne to go with the meal, and the pairing was perfect and delicious.
I definitely recommend it. It's best to make a reservation before going.

A culinary experience that will tantalize your taste buds, with the added bonus of a most pleasant welcome. Excellent value for money, which is always a plus.
I wrote a very positive review in September 2021 following my first visit, which doesn't seem to have been published, but I've been back several times since and have never been disappointed.

We had suckling pig, I've no idea how they cook it but it was really good
If I gave one gripe it's seeing all of the lovely veg in the markets but done on the plate in the restaurant- give us some veg please 🤔

Had an amazing evening with 4 courses. The taste was on point, steak tartare was made at the table, which I liked very much. Wine advise was also good for the meals I ordered. Professional vibes, but not too strict and “boring”. Cheese was too much, could have made the portions smaller. Dessert was okay, but underwhelming compared to the rest of the food and wine. Had an amazing evening, would recommend.
