The food is very good. Our meal for two cost €78.

The food was decent, but nothing special: the snails lacked flavor, the ham hock was dry, perhaps overheated, and the sauerkraut was bland. For a Saturday night, there was little time to relax; you had less than an hour to eat a starter and a main course, and the service was rushed. You get the feeling from the start that you'll have to vacate your table quickly. There was no transparency regarding the price of the water, which appeared to be homemade sparkling tap water: €3.50 for 50 cl! A tourist trap, absolutely avoid it!

A wonderful family visit and a superb discovery with impeccable service. Very welcoming waiter and typical dishes.

Maybe it's a matter of taste, but after 4 days in Colmar we've been around, only once did we speak to the reception and they sent us to this place... almost a fixed menu, for desserts you have to get up to read the blackboard, prices out of line compared to all the other places around... we won't be back, the food is nothing special... cleanliness 4

Nice decor, friendly waiters, and good food. However, the value for money isn't great (twice the price)... It's Colmar, they say. And the manager isn't very friendly with her employees, which is a shame because they are lovely.

A quaint and welcoming place. The extremely kind and helpful staff managed to find us a seat during peak hours without a reservation, and there were eight of us! Excellent Alsatian lunch!

This is a restaurant where I had a great time with my coworkers. It offers a generous selection of delicious snacks to go with your beer.

Not surprisingly, this restaurant is featured on Lonely Planet: intimate, historic, and welcoming, with incredible food. The staff, though strict, is friendly and helpful with explanations of the dishes. It's not cheap, but it's worth it.

We didn't have a reservation, so we asked at the entrance if we could come in and eat cake, there were 4 of us. They barely let us in. We settled on the floor. There was no price for the cake on the menu, so we asked the waitress, since they said it was 14 euros. After that, I saw that the children's menu also costs that much, so we decided it was better to have lunch for the same money. When we ordered, a girl suddenly appeared who let us in and started shouting at us about where we had the right to order lunch when we said we would take the cake. I have only experienced such rudeness in Colmar and nowhere else on the planet. Of course, after such a reaction, we took the cake. The caramel cake was excellent, the ice cream cake was like ice cream from Lidl, but it costs much more. The ambiance of the place is wonderful, the location is excellent, otherwise it would have received 1 star for the service and the food.

Snails, tripe, and a good pint of beer. Very good.
