Xurasko sur Bayonne

This is the holy grail, the HQ, the masterclass, it's so, so good: avocado, potatoes, crab croquettes, yum!

A very traditional place, but with welcoming people and simple, good food.

We came today, August 14th, as a family, with a table of eight. We tried the daily special: Caesar salad, piperade, egg, and shredded ham. We also ordered hamburgers and two children's meals (nuggets and fries). The food was all good. The fries were fresh, even if they weren't homemade. The hamburgers were also good, but not particularly large compared to the picture on the menu. However, we had to ask several times for mayonnaise for the children and for water, which was rather unfortunate. We found the price a bit high for what we received. We attribute this to the fact that the restaurant is very popular with tourists. The really negative point, however, was the service. The waitress was cold, unpleasant, and seemed impatient with us. As a waitress myself, I am well aware of the difficulties of this profession and can understand that a day can sometimes be challenging. But we particularly noticed the difference in behavior compared to the table next door, which seemed to be occupied by regulars: the waitress was much more smiling, pleasant, and friendly. It's a shame, because the experience could have been much better with a warmer welcome and service.

First visit and a little disappointed. Expensive for the portion sizes. €10.50 for 3 carrots with peanuts and no seasoning… Nevertheless, they're good!

I've been coming here for years, both for holidays and to visit family. The atmosphere, the location, the food… the combination remains perfect. Along with a coffee on the terrace at Bar du Palais, Xurasko is one of those Bayonne experiences that makes the passing years enjoyable. Well done!

Very good. Very generous portions and the waitress was very nice.

A lovely spot in the heart of Petit Bayonne where you can eat quickly and enjoy a great atmosphere. Homemade fries and delicious traditional dishes. Reservations are recommended, especially in summer.

Perfect, no local draft beer but the local IPA is also very good. Same for the pork cheek
