22/08/2026: First time here, on a Saturday night, just the two of us. We left with a pleasant surprise.
On the table: California rolls with bluefin tuna, California maki, and a tuna version with cream cheese. The ingredients are fresh, you can tell right away, and it's prepared quickly. For starters, wasabi cucumber and edamame, simple and well-made.
The waiter recommended a yuzu and lemon drink and another with pomegranate and tea that I hadn't tried before. Very lightly sweetened, very flavorful. Good advice; I wouldn't have thought to order it on my own.
The highlight for me was the decor with framed portraits, signatures, and faces that you think you recognize.
I asked the waiter a question, and he came back with about fifty photos of celebrities who had eaten here over the years. We ended up turning it into a little game; I must have recognized about thirty of them. Fun and unexpected!
The service remained quick and friendly from start to finish, attentive without ever interrupting us.
The dining room seats around thirty. It's quiet, you can chat without raising your voice.
Around €50 for two, a fair price for Paris. One thing did surprise me, though: my €21 set menu included 18 maki rolls but no starter, and the starter option is only available at lunchtime. At this price point, you'd expect it to be included in the evening as well. That said, the quality was excellent, so it didn't spoil my meal.
With over sixteen years in business and a solid reputation, it's easy to see why. I recommend it :)
