A great find! Nice decor, welcoming and helpful staff, reasonable prices (especially for Paris!), and very good food. Honestly, I highly recommend this place for sushi lovers!

Takeout. Delicious sushi and excellent value for money. The service was quick; they just needed a second pair of chopsticks, but everything was perfect! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it 😊

I went to dinner at Yayami restaurant last week. It was excellent. The service was impeccable. We were able to chat with the staff (the chef and the owner, I think), and they were lovely people! I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely go back if I can. 😋

03/05/2026: The dish was beautifully presented, and the fish was fresh. But nothing exceptional for the price… The service was fairly quick, the staff were friendly, but we didn't have any water.
02/05/2026: Dinner reservation. The sashimi was of very good quality, with well-selected fish that were pleasant to eat. However, the value for money remains problematic. The €32 assortment of 11 pieces is clearly at the higher end of the price range, but neither the portion size nor the overall offering lives up to expectations. At this price, one expects either a truly memorable experience or sufficient generosity to avoid any disappointment. Here, the feeling of a disconnect between the price and the quality of the dish is undeniable. The same reservation applies to the sushi selection, where a significant portion of cucumber maki throws the dish off balance and gives the impression of filler rather than a well-executed composition.

08/05/2026: Honestly, huge respect to Désiré for the work he's done. The atmosphere is great, the community is active, and everything is well-organized. You can see he's really dedicated to making sure everyone has a good time. I recommend it 100%!
05/05/2026: Probably my favorite sushi restaurant; it's the antithesis of an Instagrammable place. The service is a bit freestyle, and the chef has a strong personality that might not appeal to everyone. Personally, I love it because at least it's authentic. The fish is top quality, and the omakase is incredible—so generous. The sushi, maki, and sashimi reflect the chef's style: freestyle. The presentation isn't always perfect; no two are alike, and sometimes the rice doesn't stick properly... And yet, it's so delicious. The place doesn't look like much; it seems like it hasn't changed in 20 years, but that almost gives it a nostalgic feel (especially the karaoke). I like being able to go there spontaneously and find a table, so please, don't go!
