You Sushi sur Pau

02/07/2026: We placed a takeaway order at Sushi Shop Pau for 6:15 pm. The order wasn't ready until around 6:30 pm. On the plus side, while we waited, the manager kindly offered us a seat and water, a nice touch. Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment. We had ordered a Salmon Addict platter, Tuna Tataki Spring Rolls, Tempura Shrimp California Rolls, and Salmon Maki, for a total of €68. As soon as we opened the boxes, we noticed a problem with freshness. The avocado in most of the rolls was brown, oxidized, and clearly past its prime. The salad in the sushi and rolls was also wilted. Even the ginger packets had an unusual smell and taste; checking the expiration date, we saw that they were due to expire the next day. Beyond these issues, the entire order seemed very bland. The various sushi and rolls all tasted practically the same, lacking the expected flavors of the products we ordered. This is particularly disappointing considering the price paid. For €68, we expected fresh, high-quality products. Despite a friendly welcome while we waited, the overall experience was very disappointing and unfortunately makes us reluctant to recommend the establishment.
