Yummy Sushi is a must-try in Rennes for me. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, taste, and quantity of the sushi on offer. This restaurant stands out for its authentic Japanese flavors, particularly with the inclusion of typical ingredients such as eel, delicate masago eggs, and melt-in-your-mouth scallops. There are a few minor improvements that could be made (one day I had a very dry and almost tasteless wasabi), but this is a small detail that in no way detracts from the overall quality of the food and service.

We had lunch there today, we ordered the set lunch menu, an individual tray where we could choose several things to put on it. I recommend it, it was delicious, and the service was very pleasant.

A really great place I discovered several months ago, and I'm finally getting around to writing a review… XD. The staff are welcoming and you feel very comfortable at the tables, whether you're in a group of four or even just the two of you. And yes, I did say I've been there many times already. The menus are easy to read and the portions are generous: you leave feeling satisfied, but that doesn't mean you miss out on the incredible desserts like the matcha tiramisu or the cheesecake. So I'll definitely be back and I highly recommend it.

16/08/2026: An excellent place where delicious Japanese dishes meet Breton architecture. Our meals were delicious and flavorful, the service was quick, the staff were incredibly friendly, and Mom was delighted. My bento was beautiful, and the fish literally melted in my mouth. Our taste buds were won over. We'll be back! 🌹🌟👍
14/08/2026: Fabulous! Different and delicious dishes every time I've been, top-notch staff, and a superb, slightly cellar-like restaurant atmosphere. The terrace overlooking the church is an added bonus!

24/05/2026: Amazing experience 🤩 The service was top-notch! And the place was clean! It was lovely to see 🙃 The atmosphere was incredible! The music was just right, very relaxing 😌 However, I found the banquette a bit uncomfortable; the backrest was very upright, which quickly put me off my appetite... The welcome was fantastic, and the meal I ordered was delicious 😋 I really enjoyed the coleslaw ❤️ However, the chicken skewers were a bit bland... But the beef and Gouda yakitori were exquisite!! The sushi platters looked amazing! 😍 Thank you!
