The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was perfect and very friendly.

05/07/2025: I had lunch at Loyo restaurant with my boyfriend and I don't really understand the 4.7 rating. The allocos were good, and the bissap, while relatively good in taste, clearly lacked finesse. I've tried several bissap in different restaurants, and this one disappointed me: it wasn't filtered well, with a lot of residue inside, including mint, which meant you had to remove pieces of it yourself. This made the tasting unpleasant. The sausage rougail, at 21 euros, was very salty and very oily, and the fish my boyfriend ordered, billed at 34 euros, clearly lacked seasoning. For us, it's expensive for such uneven quality. The food also arrived damaged during transport by the delivery person, which further tarnished the experience, even if it wasn't directly the restaurant's fault. It's all of these elements that are pushing us not to repeat the experience.

16/09/2024: Delicious Senegali food, the girl who served us was very kind, since not being able to communicate correctly, she offered us samples of each sauce before choosing a dish. Quiet place frequented by locals to which I would definitely return

20/07/2024: Big hygiene problem in addition to deliberately not having a TPE for credit cards.
The girl is very slow to serve and answers her phone during service. Plus he lets people in to sell us glasses without any problem. What restaurant does that.

15/08/2024: I came back a second time but this time the waitress was very unpleasant and haughty. Also on the menu there is “Braised Tilapia” but she told me that there is only “Braised Machoron”. The menu also needs to be reviewed
13/08/2024: J ai été mangé avec une amie et nos enfants . Aucun accueil , la serveuse était froide . Nous avons commandé des sauces ( sauce arrivée très pimenté. Nous avons demandé une sauce sans piment car nous étions avec des enfants ), nous avons eu droit des menaces et des gris de la part de la cuisinière qui tenait mordicus que la sauce n était pas pimentée tout en refusant de goûter . Elle a tellement haussé gris et nos enfants ont demandé à partir . Il a fallut qu un MR qui était à la table d à côté intervienne pour que la serveuse goûte à la sauce et propose de nous donner une autre sauce . Quand à la cuisinière nous n avons pas eu droit à des excuses . Juste l entendre parler sans arrêt dans la cuisine .

02/06/2024: I went there once 3 years ago, the tiep was quite good but the wait was super long! (It was counted in hours!) I don't know if that has changed since then.

03/03/2024: Dinner for two on a Saturday evening, only customers of the restaurant.
Lovers of Africa, so with a positive a priori, we were very disappointed: 1h10 of waiting (that's longer than in the country!) for two dishes, one of which was cold, not very filling, not very successful (alokos not ripe, mafé with tough meat...). The atmosphere is not great and the seats are stained. In short, I'm surprised that this restaurant is still open...
