06/07/2025: A perfect restaurant, a wonderful discovery. Fast service, delicious food, a superb view, and a very reasonable price considering the quality of the products. We will be happy to return.
05/07/2025: The lakeside location is superb, but the service is subpar.
Poor side dishes, forgotten drinks, and even toothpicks in the sugar bowl.
Luckily, the appetizer and main course were good.
I definitely won't be back.

27/01/2026: The owner and the lady's welcome seemed promising at first. However, as soon as I mentioned the origin of the meat or anything else, I felt like I was speaking gibberish. "So what if I have a veggie?" Yeah, right. The cook came and told me to hurry up and choose, so I left. Is he serious? There's a right way and a wrong way to do things. There's no way I'm spending a single penny in this kind of establishment. And stop with your lame excuses. I was respectful, smiling, and patient until your cook, without even saying hello, told me to hurry up. When I asked you about the origin, you laughed at me, saying, "Yes, we have our own animals, everyone knows that," and you mentioned frozen pizzas, not EU or anything. Stop lying to me, it's just driving me crazy.
11/01/2026: A very welcoming and clean restaurant. The dishes are beautifully presented, with lovely colors and a good selection. I personally recommend it.

02/02/2026: A wonderful discovery! The welcome, service, and meal were excellent, as was the room. And the view! Until next time...
22/01/2026: We arrived around 10:30 PM and booked online only 30 minutes in advance. The guy at the front desk was perhaps a little tired, but not as tired as us, as we'd been traveling since early in the morning. However, the room was freezing all night at 17 degrees Celsius because he forgot to turn on the heating. The room was small, and breakfast the next day was very expensive for what was available. But the view was lovely. The morning receptionist offered me a coffee when I explained we'd been cold the night before. She was kind. We could have gone upstairs—there's no phone in the room—and told them about the lack of heating, but we were really very tired. Overall, a decent stay. Room and breakfast were €100 for two. I'd tell the guy at the front desk to be more careful.

A warm and pleasant welcome.
I arrived way too early and was more than well received!
As for the cuisine... succulent, quality and finesse. A meal triggering a desire to come back.
The magnificent setting, its breathtaking view of the lake at all levels.
To conclude: a stop to make without hesitation.
Thank you to the whole team for your welcome and your efficiency.

17/08/2024: Belle salle avec vue magnifique sur le lac. Mais ce soir là, gros problème de service. Ce fut trop long (1h pour avoir le plat), et impossible d'avoir le pain. Pour en avoir parlé avec la serveuse, elle a admis un pb dans le service, avec un raté dans la gestion du pain. On a le sentiment que le service manque d'organisation (plusieurs serveurs nous demandent la même chose).Sinon, les filets de perche sont corrects, les quenelles de brochet également mais la cuisse de poulet manquait de cuisson. On n'a pas pris de dessert. Pour se rattraper, il nous a été offert un digestif. C'est sympa, mais le sentiment général est moyen.
11/08/2024: En cette saison tout est blindé, mais ils nous ont accueilli sans difficulté.
Je vous recommande les quenelles.

27/05/2024: C'est l'endroit parfait pour déjeuner en terrasse, tout au bord du joli lac de Nantua (ce serait vraiment dommage de manger dans la salle du restaurant, alors allez-y de préférence un jour de Soleil). Mais PENSEZ A RESERVER....
La carte de ce restaurant est variée, mais elle vous permettra notamment de déguster la spécialité locale, la Fameuse Quenelle de Nantua !!! Un véritable délice...
Sinon la carte est composée de plusieurs menus qui vous permettrons de déjeuner pour une somme très raisonnable. Le choix est varié : Salades, viandes, poissons, produits locaux, etc.....
Bref, c'est une adresse "sûre". La preuve en est que de nombreux locaux y viennent régulièrement, et sont fidèles de cette adresse depuis des années. C'est un signe qui ne trompe pas !
N'ayez pas peur du bruit de la route car la terrasse est au calme côté lac, et le bâtiment fait écran au bruit de la circulation.
P.S : Le restaurant dispose d'un parking, et il est situé hors agglomération.
18/05/2024: Belle vue en terrasse, au calme. Service rapide et avec le sourire, pourtant il y avait du monde. Plat très bon et copieux.
