20/09/2026: The place is gorgeous, the limited menu is enticing, and the waitresses and waiters are smiling—thank you to them for preventing us from running away when our food arrived. Frozen fries, reheated kebab meat that was impossible to chew, a Caesar salad without croutons and tasteless, a children's menu at €15 (!!!) for a defrosted hamburger and fries… it's extremely expensive for such mediocre food, which is a real shame given the idyllic setting. Perhaps they should have ordered the fish of the day to get something fresh.

16/09/2026: The restaurant is well located with a magnificent lake view. We dined inside because it was very windy, a big mistake! We ate outside because it was too noisy inside. The prices are too high for the quality. We won't be going back. There's a small parking lot in front, but there's free parking a little further away.

22/07/2026: The worst hotel of my entire trip through France, and I stayed in far cheaper places that were better. From the front, the hotel looks fairly modern at first, but you quickly notice how neglected it is. Flower planters were left standing across the sidewalk, apparently pushed there by a car, and nobody seemed to feel responsible for putting them back. The rear part of the building, only visible at second glance, is visibly run-down. The rooms have the charm of something between a hospital room and a budget hotel. In my room, the curtains had been torn down. There was no coffee machine or kettle, no bottle of water, and no minibar. The bathroom didn't even have a tooth glass or cup. The room wasn't clean either; there were crumbs under the bathroom sink. Particularly annoying: the key card had to be re-magnetized at reception before EVERY single entry to the room. For this price and category, clearly not acceptable. Not recommended.

13/05/2026: Excessive price considering the advertised standard and the reality. Monday evening: only one chicken dish available. No prawns, scallops, or filet mignon due to staff shortages, and I wasn't notified or compensated for the inconvenience.

05/09/2026: A wonderful experience and a pleasant surprise today. Nantua, where real restaurants are hard to find. A very warm welcome, generous portions of fresh and flavorful homemade cuisine accompanied by a proper salad and a delicious little gratin. Excellent flambéed prawns and a tasty quenelle, all very well seasoned. The dining room is simple but pleasant and clean, with cloth tablecloths, a rare find. The wine by the glass was perfectly acceptable. Impeccable service and cleanliness. Even the restrooms were spotless. In short, highly recommended. We will be back.

09/08/2026: Let's keep tastes and preferences in mind... To be clear: a great find. Lunch: good, homemade, pleasant welcome. Dinner was the same: homemade cuisine, pleasant welcome, however, there was a bit of a wait, but no big deal, I was on vacation. Calm atmosphere, background music, you can chat. GOOD VALUE for money. I recommend it.
