14/08/2026: My partner and I came for dinner on a Friday evening and had a very pleasant time at Le Coq Rouge.
We immediately appreciated the warm and attentive welcome from the staff, as well as the decor, which was both cozy and intimate, creating a lovely atmosphere.
We ordered a starter, a main course, and a dessert, and each dish was a true delight for the taste buds. Original flavor combinations, expertly prepared ingredients, and above all, pure pleasure with every bite!
A wonderful discovery in Saint-Genis-Pouilly, which we highly recommend. Thank you to the entire team for this lovely experience; we will gladly return! ☺️

Prices a bit high, but worth checking out.

10/06/2026: I bought just dark chocolate and orange coated in chocolate. Both are exceptional. Yes a bit pricey compared to other brands. The server was friendly and helpful.

Prices are not that bad for the value.

02/09/2026: One of the few spots in Saint-Genis. English pub style, complete with a carpet that’s seen better days. You order at the counter, British-style. If luck is on your side, the bartender might actually look up and take your order. Otherwise, you'll be completely invisible while everyone around you gets served. In short: service needs a MASSIVE improvement, and the atmosphere isn't great either, tbh

27/07/2026: Surprisingly delicious pizza , thin crust, good ratio of sauce, cheese and toppings. Even better if you throw it in the air fryer for a bit. A bit reminiscent of NY pizza!!! Prices are fair !
07/04/2026: Excellent pizzas! Plus, the team is really honest: they made a mistake with the sizes, called us back to let us know, and even offered us the same order the next day as a gesture of goodwill!

08/07/2026: The €80 set menu was far too small for two people (only one naan, and a single, tiny dessert for two, which was already insufficient for one). That said, the dishes themselves were excellent. Finally, the service was... complicated: they forgot our drinks, sauces, and cutlery (spoons and forks) to serve ourselves. At this price, and in an establishment that aims to be a traditional, even semi-gastronomic, restaurant, this is unacceptable.
22/06/2026: As an Uber Eats delivery driver, I'm super friendly and kind. They even offer cold water during the heatwave. My customers are always happy with their meals here, and I highly recommend them.

31/08/2026: Unfortunately, I am forced to not recommend this place. To put it simply, we went inside and ordered two aperitifs. When it came time to serve us food, there was nothing in the dishes, even though it was 7:30 pm and the store opens at 6:30 pm. When we politely asked the waiter, he told me that the dishes were empty because he was using them to fill the doggy bags of people who take away. Paying €25 for nothing to eat, we asked for an immediate refund, paying only for our aperitifs, to leave. Deplorable service in France.
22/08/2026: The Restaurant is not looking very attractive but the Food was tasty, and the price was ok. The service personal spoke only french and I suppose chinese.

25/05/2026: I travel every week. I've never seen a hotel in such a dilapidated state: carpets and walls in a terrible condition, mold in the bathroom, unidentified substances stuck to the bathroom radiator… Simply scandalous.

10/06/2024: Nous y mangeons 1 fois par semaine, entrecôte à chaque fois.
Comment peut on lire que la viande n'est pas bonne :(
En 1 an, nous avons 1 fois une viande moyenne, sinon, juste parfaite.
Parfois le temps de service est un peu long, mais toujours avec le sourire.
10/02/2024: Dommage que l'on vous serve tout en même temps..
Aperitif, plat ,vin, eau.
Bien entendu quand vous avez terminé l'apéritif, le plat est froid...
