18/05/2026: We had our best Burger in Lyon!!! They served with homemade french fries not frozen ones which I liked about. The staff are friendly and caring.

28/04/2026: Minimalist welcome, 0 service, a cracked glass, wiping the glasses doesn't seem necessary.

07/03/2026: We arrived at opening time at 2:30 pm on March 7th and one of the employees ignored us. Despite a customer reminding him that we were waiting, he simply raised his hand and said, "No problem." Indeed, no problem, we won't be back. Thanks to his colleague who actually served us.

26/02/2026: Always a pleasure to have a glass of wine or Wishky beer.... Beer deposits are back, a wide selection to buy from, with knowledgeable staff who will give you good advice.

12/07/2025: A delicious Black Forest cake. Absolutely delicious! I went twice just to buy some. It was so good. Not too sweet, with tart cherries, fresh cream, good dark chocolate, and a super tasty, crunchy biscuit base. It was only afterward that I learned the owner was closing. He told me, "It's old age." I wish him a happy retirement.

05/07/2025: Disappointing experience – sadly not like it used to be I've known this restaurant for several years and always enjoyed eating German food here. It's ideally located near the Comédie-Française. Unfortunately, my visit today, my second in just a few months, was once again a huge disappointment. The food was so bad that I couldn't finish my plate. The meat was completely overcooked, and the lentils were hard and inedible. I paid 40 euros and left without finishing my meal. It's truly a shame to see how much the quality has declined.

29/05/2026: A lovely restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff, most of whom also speak German. The tarte flambée was delicious and we felt very comfortable.

28/11/2025: The restaurant was closed on one side due to a missing server, yet several tables remained empty in the "open" section, and we were refused service because we needed a reservation. While we weren't regulars, we used to go there occasionally, but that won't happen again.

05/05/2026: Good value for money, the waiter is friendly! There isn't a huge selection on the menu, mostly pork dishes! Since my husband doesn't eat pork, that's a shame, and I don't think the seating is very comfortable; the furniture is old and should be replaced to make it more comfortable. We were also cold while eating! The dishes are very well presented, homemade, and very good; we'll definitely go back! 😉👍

28/05/2026: Excellent kebab, homemade, meat not too fatty or salty like most, fries definitely homemade and not frozen, very generous and fresh toppings, highly recommended! Compared to everything else, it's definitely the best, especially for the price.

14/05/2026: I've been going there often since last year. And what a surprise it has been for the past few weeks, even months, the meat has become much less tasty and of lower quality. The dining area leaves something to be desired; when you pay for a kebab, you expect to eat in a clean place. The tables are often dirty, the chairs too, and the toilets are even worse. I suspect I saw something unhygienic a few days ago near the spit, but I'll keep quiet and give them the benefit of the doubt until next time. It's time they took a hard look at themselves and overhauled the entire kitchen and the whole restaurant. Despite everything, the sauces are still good, thankfully. If things don't change, I won't be recommending it.

07/03/2026: I received an email invitation for a wine tasting 🍷 on Thursday, March 5, 2026, and I confirmed our invitation by phone. I got the answering machine, so I left a message: "I'm reserving this tasting for 3 people." We arrived around 6 pm, and the person who was "organizing" this event told us: "But it's canceled! Didn't you receive an email?" "No! I called you!" "Oh dear, our voicemail is full!" She was barely polite, seemed very busy, even overwhelmed! She left us hanging! She came back a little while later with a brief "Excuse us" at least! The woman was really not very friendly, and certainly not customer-oriented!

23/11/2025: A nice, very traditional restaurant. The service is particularly slow, but the staff is friendly and pleasant. The portions are a bit small for most of my group.

09/11/2025: There were six of us. Naturally, everyone ordered something different, but that wasn't a problem at all. We received excellent and extremely friendly service from the owner himself; all our requests were promptly fulfilled, and we felt truly welcome. Regarding the food, it should be noted that the appetizers were a bit poor value for money. We're not big eaters, but the appetizers were very small. The main courses were of good quality, but again, they lacked that final touch. Dessert was standard, so it was fine. Drinks were reasonably priced, with a slight Swiss influence. The interior has been completely renovated, but it lacks a bit of atmosphere. The overall impression was that we could have received a bit more for the prices charged. Nevertheless, it's worth a visit, as we're really nitpicking.

Despite providing my unique certificate ID, the administration informed me that they delete all student records after 10 years due to their interpretation of the GDPR. This is absolutely unacceptable for a world-class educational institution. Here’s why you should look elsewhere (such as the ÖSD or national certificates): Complete Lack of Accountability: If you lose your original physical certificate, the institute refuses to verify your achievement or issue a confirmation, effectively erasing years of hard work. Poor customer service: Even after contacting the Munich headquarters, the response remains a robotic "we delete everything," demonstrating a complete lack of modern digital archiving or student support. Outdated logic: Claiming that data protection (GDPR) prevents them from maintaining a simple alumni verification register is a flimsy excuse that most world-class institutions have already addressed with secure, anonymized databases. In short: Don't entrust your professional future to an organization that treats its graduates with a "disposable" mindset. Once 10 years are up, you practically cease to exist in their system. Save your money and turn to a reputable institution that respects its students' efforts throughout their careers.
