12/07/2025: A delicious Black Forest gateau. Truly delicious! I went there twice just to buy some. It was so good. Not too sweet, with tart cherries, fresh cream, good dark chocolate, and a super tasty crunchy biscuit base. It was only afterward that I learned that the owner was closing. He said, "It's just age." I wish him a happy retirement.
05/07/2025: Disappointing experience – unfortunately, not what it used to be
I've known this restaurant for several years and have always enjoyed the German food here. It's ideally located near the Comédie-Française.
Unfortunately, my visit today, my second in a few months, was another huge disappointment. The food was so bad I couldn't finish my plate. The meat was completely overcooked, and the lentils were hard and inedible. I paid 40 euros and left without finishing the meal. It's truly a shame to see how the quality has declined so drastically.

06/06/2025: Great little "Bar in a Beer Shop". Vast selection of beer. Great atmosphere and while we were here a genuine DJ playing funk on vinyl. Somewhere not to miss if yourin the area.

28/11/2025: The restaurant was closed on one side due to a missing server, yet several tables remained empty in the "open" section, and we were refused service because we needed a reservation. While we weren't regulars, we used to go there occasionally, but that won't happen again.

23/11/2025: A nice, very traditional restaurant.
The service is particularly slow, but the staff is friendly and pleasant. The portions are a bit small for most of my group.
09/11/2025: There were six of us. Naturally, everyone ordered something different, but that wasn't a problem at all. We received excellent and extremely friendly service from the owner himself; all our requests were promptly fulfilled, and we felt truly welcome. Regarding the food, it should be noted that the appetizers were a bit poor value for money. We're not big eaters, but the appetizers were very small. The main courses were of good quality, but again, they lacked that final touch. Dessert was standard, so it was fine. Drinks were reasonably priced, with a slight Swiss influence. The interior has been completely renovated, but it lacks a bit of atmosphere. The overall impression was that we could have received a bit more for the prices charged. Nevertheless, it's worth a visit, as we're really nitpicking.

Beautiful decor and a lovely restaurant.
Excellent menu.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

30/11/2025: Honestly, a huge disappointment. I went there with my family around 1:30 pm... a one-hour wait. The waiter brought two salads we hadn't ordered... the main courses never arrived... we left. Other customers were very annoyed and also left.
I won't go into details... too much to say... in short... avoid it.

Update May 2025: I'm moving up to 2☆, the wait is less annoying... because it seems there are fewer people now than before.
02/04/2025: Very disappointed and yet passing through and this is not my first vnb from France as I am often on the move
Closing at 6:45 p.m. so at 6:30 p.m. we kindly ask you to finish your drink quickly
And at 6:15 p.m. unable to order anything else despite my request for another pint and a 13-ball board

22/09/2024: I am a neighbor of this establishment. In recent days, there have been new activities in the courtyard and a new sound system, which has invaded the entire neighborhood despite our double glazing. I went to talk to the manager to explain the situation and ask him to turn down the volume, he doesn't want to hear anything and just repeats the time. The next administrative actions will have consequences.

18/09/2024: I've been sitting here for almost an hour. I asked the waitress for butter 15 minutes ago and I'm still waiting. The service is terribly slow, the waitress is distracted. The food is ok, but it tasted bitter because of the very poor service.😕
27/08/2024: Very pleasant welcome, impeccable service.
The plates are generous (salmon tartare and wok). No more room for dessert.

31/07/2024: We only ate so I don't know about the hotel. As for the restaurant: Great service! Very nice and friendly. Delicious snails for an appetizer. The steak was too thin, so it was tough (it was supposed to be medium), and 1/5 of it was cartilage. Vegetables for the steak were over-fried - soft and tasteless. Dessert - choko lavacake - cool and tasted as if it was bought in a supermarket. Espresso hmm .. little coffee, lots of water. We probably won't come back.

Hamburger infâme, frites tout aussi mauvaises.
Notre repas nous est resté sur l'estomac toute l'après midi.
18 euros le menu sans le dessert pour vivre un moment gustatif effrayant....

28/05/2024: Dieses Restaurant ist definitiv nicht zu empfehlen. Das einzige, das lecker war, waren die Pommes. Der Burger war furchtbar, nicht essbar. Der Hotdog war ok, würde es aber definitiv nicht noch einmal essen/bestellen.
Ich würde dieses Restaurant meiden.
