The food is absolutely delicious and plentiful, inspired by Lorraine. You'll find all the hallmarks of this beautiful region.
It's a restaurant run entirely by a passionate family, and everything is homemade ;)

01/09/2026: A lovely family evening in a very pleasant setting. The food was generally good. A minor complaint, however, about the zucchini fritters, which were a bit too greasy and lacked seasoning. The service, on the other hand, was inconsistent: it really depended on the person serving your table. But I would definitely go back.

23/07/2026: A fantastic spot in La Gaude! The ice cream is truly excellent; you can taste the quality of the ingredients. A nice little bonus: there's a water dispenser, which is especially appreciated in the summer. The staff is welcoming and friendly, making you feel very welcome. You can also eat in, which is convenient. And the icing on the cake is that the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend it!

18/08/2026: A small bakery that deserves to be known and stopped by, where you'll find a friendly atmosphere over a coffee or breakfast. Enjoy their fresh bread and a wonderful young waitress, very kind and professional – a real plus! Restaurant de la Gaude, a welcoming place.
16/08/2026: I love local places like this. On August 15th, we bought not only coffee, but also a baguette and a pastry.

Although the new owners are young and friendly, it's far too expensive for this type of family-run, friendly restaurant—really, way too expensive! Two courses and two drinks for €60.
Especially since, compared to the previous chef, the food is a bit less tasty and the portions are smaller, yet the bill is even higher!
We used to like this place, but we won't be going back!
28/03/2026: The meal was good, but the waitress clearly wanted us to leave quickly; it wasn't even 2 pm yet. We were offered coffee immediately after our meal.

09/06/2026: We were a group of Italians who came to spend the weekend in La Gaude. Our expectations were therefore high, and Pizza Valeria lived up to them perfectly, preparing excellent pizzas for 30 people on time and in perfect condition!
