23/10/2025: Impeccable and friendly welcome, attentive waiter offering excellent advice. Gourmet cuisine, with original pairings, showcases seasonal produce and is very well prepared. We enjoyed clams with chanterelles, pork and lobster with small gnocchi, scallops with orange and ginger, and a chocolate, caramel, and peanut dessert. Truly a restaurant to discover! We will be back! Thanks to the chef and the waiter!

24/02/2026: If you're looking for a restaurant in Tourrettes-sur-Loup, look no further! La Barbacane, on the Place du Bourg, has a concise menu, simple yet well-prepared cuisine, quality ingredients, reasonable prices, and a perfect setting. We tried it today, and it was perfect. Well done to the team!

14/03/2026: Here on the terrace, many years ago, very early one beautiful summer morning, I drank the best café au lait of my life. The lovely square across the street was still deserted, the sun was just rising, and it was somehow magical. That was about 25 years ago, and unfortunately, I haven't been back since. But whenever I drink a good coffee, anywhere in the world, I often think back to that beautiful spot.

03/03/2026: The service was interminable despite several reminders and a well-intentioned waitress who was running around everywhere… Never mind, the meat was barely fresh and the fries were cheap, mass-produced: "home cooking"? Who are they kidding?! (I won't bore you with the details of my evening in the restroom, which only confirmed my doubts about the ribeye). To top it all off, I had to give up on dessert because of the long wait, even though I'd ordered it at the beginning of the meal… And when it came time to pay, a large man behind the bar curtly pointed out that it's clearly stated everywhere that they don't accept credit cards (!): in short, it's unacceptable, and I don't recommend this place, despite its prime location… So, avoid it. You've been warned!

04/03/2026: It's sad to see some negative comments because from the moment you enter this simple, very well-organized, and beautifully decorated hotel, you feel a sense of well-being, a warm, family atmosphere, and a welcoming atmosphere. The place is relaxing, the rooms have comfortable beds and are spotlessly clean, the bathroom is well-appointed and very clean, but the best part is the terrace for each room with its exceptional view. The breakfast is generous and offers excellent value for money. As for the price of the accommodation, it's truly affordable for everyone. Those who are dissatisfied should ask themselves some questions. Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for allowing us to experience these moments of happiness.

28/02/2026: Unfortunately our order was forgotten. 1.40h waiting time which is unacceptable. But, the waiting time was not even worth it, the food was below average. Never again. All of our 5 plates were unacceptable.

28/02/2026: We waited over an hour for a supposedly generous portion of prawn risotto, which was actually tiny. Luckily, there was bread. We skipped dessert to avoid the wait; several other customers left in disheartened silence before even starting. Mr./Mr. Owner of this restaurant, you should hire more staff, especially during the Violet Festival; the servers are overwhelmed.

26/10/2025: A lovely surprise in Tourette-sur-Loup!!!! A relaxing family welcome, just the way we like them :)))))) Homemade cuisine prepared by the chef who inspired us and our 7-year-old son a lot!! The owner is amazing and authentic, just like her lovely restaurant. Thank you both for the atmosphere and this wonderful time spent together.

13/10/2025: We thoroughly enjoyed the Provençal octopus. The red wine, recommended by the manager, paired perfectly with the dish. We were very well received, and we highly recommend it.

09/11/2025: We made a detour to try the famous violet ice cream, but the door was closed for annual holidays, and I made sure to check the opening hours before going.

11/09/2025: I give 4 stars for the ice cream, which is excellent. The missing point is due to the saleswoman, who is unfriendly and very cold. A frosty welcome, just like the ice cream they sell there.
