15/09/2024: The first and only paraguayan restaurant in Paris. Most people never heard about the country but when you go tl Passion Guaraní you feel like you're at home. The food is amazing and the ambiance makes you comfortable. There's live music on fridays and saturdays, with paraguayan and southamerican artists playing their instruments during the dinner. If you're looking for a new culinary experience, this is your place 👌🏼

17/08/2024: I went to eat with the family and frankly we were disappointed, the arepa was not cooked, the Guanavaba juice looked like water, the fish had no salt, the waitress service was not great, she was showing off, we asked her for a table for 4 and she said wait to see if there is room even though in the restaurant there were only 4 sozos of whatever, I wouldn't set foot there anymore inside

08/04/2024: I had reserved a space at this bar for 25 people and we had a great evening! The waiters and the manager are at the top to welcome us in the best conditions. I highly recommend !

13/10/2024: Piccolo ristorante in montparnasse che offre cucina argentina quindi principalmente carne alla griglia. Carne ottima, succosa e saporita. Abbiamo bevuto vino argentino (dignitoso), servizio veloce e prezzo corretto.

26/09/2024: Ran across the place because we were annoyed at the prices at Cafe De Flore and Deux Magots. We were legitimately surprised at how reasonable the prices were (well, relative to Blvd St Germain prices), how non-touristy it was (not a word of English other than us), and how tasty the food was. The fritters and chickens wings as part of the Assiette (sampler) were excellent, as was my wife’s vegetarian bowl. My ti’ punch was on point and her cocktail was excellent. If you’re visiting and sick of French food, this was a delightful change of pace.

26/09/2024: We loved this restaurant/bar! The decor is very pretty, we feel very good in this decor. The cocktails are really good, and the food too.

25/11/2024: Quiet dinner with light background music. Meals only with stacks. Recipe balanced in spicy not spicy except for the one with chorizo ​​which is ultimately more spicy than the beef. Lots of recipes revisited with a European taste. Very good dessert with chocolate stacks: the chocolate is hot and melting.

19/11/2024: Excellent discovery, well eaten, perfect value for money. I would happily return there when I return to Paris.

24/09/2024: Nice restaurant, overall it was good. I took an assortment of tacos, the one with the slightly gray taco I didn't really like but the beef one was very good. Next time I would choose something less classic. Regarding the restaurant, ask to go to the lower room where you will be more comfortable because the upper one is very small.

22/09/2024: We came on Saturday at 12 p.m. It's a perfect time, all places are available. . We had a small table and were served quickly. . The salad and the vegetarian bowl which make a 25 euro menu for me and the Chili con notebook for the person accompanying me. We tasted the coconut cake. It's perfect. Soft and tasty. . The ☕️ is strong, even lying down. . It was perfect, we asked for the dishes and the salad at the same time and it allowed us to share the salad and the cake. . 59 euros for a meal for two. . The room is small, the toilets are in the basement, also small. . It is inaccessible for people in wheelchairs. . Restaurant vouchers are not accepted. . The room is quite dark. . Ambient 🎶 music is pleasant.

18/09/2024: One word would suffice: Incredible! We had a bachelorette party, lovely waitress and very attentive staff! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was superb, a very good address to remember, thank you for participating in this superb bachelorette party!

02/06/2024: Thank you thank you and thank you again Great family evening in the basement. There were 20 of us and the management was really great!! We felt like we were eating at home! I highly recommend this restaurant for its culinary qualities and for the "local" side.

12/09/2024: After spending several days exploring Paris, I came across this Argentinian restaurant that filled my heart with love! It’s a cozy place, run by incredibly kind and respectful people. On top of that, the food is amazing! The empanadas are delicious, and the meat with fried sweet potatoes is finger-licking good! If you’re in the area, I recommend it 100%. One thing I want to highlight is that, in some French restaurants, I haven’t been treated well because of the language (or who knows what the issue was). However, at Café El Sur, no matter where you’re from, you’ll always be warmly welcomed! —————————— After spending several days exploring Paris, I discovered this Argentinian restaurant that filled my heart with love! 20/07/2024: A cozy, unexpected and amazing Argentinian empanada restaurant in Marais. Mom and I shared 8 empanadas, salad and dessert. This was filling for 2 people - amazing flavors in each empanada. The dessert empanada was out of this world; wish we didn’t have to share that one.

06/07/2024: Excellent !! The empanadas are delicious, especially the carne pinche one. Daniel welcomed us with a big smile, he is great, very friendly and open to discussion, we will definitely come back! A very pleasant experience. I highly recommend !!

31/08/2024: We came to have dinner at this Italian restaurant. Small but nice. We wanted to read the menu but the boss had to recite the menu to us, like at every table. Big plates but small portions. What I didn't like at all was that I asked for a carafe of water. As he didn't have any, he said he would give us a 50cl bottle of water but that it wouldn't count. Charged 4€50 disappointed.

27/08/2024: This place is above all a landmark for tourists who know nothing about Italian cuisine. What annoyed me was the ultra-marketing speech served to all the tables by the manager who encourages consumption: by offering antipastis to share for €35 with a mini burrata in the center. The table next to us was disappointed by the scam. They waited like us for the jugs of water that never arrived despite a reminder. The manager prefers to automatically provide a mini bottle charged at €4 to each tourist present. The pizza was soggy with too much sauce, edges too thick and lacked flavor. The drinks are overpriced, especially the wine list. Speaking of the menu, the prices have increased significantly compared to the online menus in Google. Pasta was not available supposedly due to a lack of kitchen staff. We refrained from tasting the tiramisu for €10 after so many disappointments.

21/07/2024: Our family (2 adults and 3 kids) traveled around France for three weeks. Last three days we spent in Paris. We have dined in so many places around the country. On the last night we chose to walk to the closest restaurant we can find in the area of our accommodation and we stumbled upon this lovely cosy restaurant. We have walked in and apologised for our lack of French and were greeted with such warmth and kindness!!! Food was delicious and portions were very generous. Next time in Paris we will visit Valentin again!!! Many thanks from our family!!!
