01/09/2024: I renew my opinion after going back a second time then a third, a fourth, a fifth and a sixth crazy. When you love you don't count 😉. Always a great culinary stopover in this Asian restaurant in the historic center of Nice. Copious and excellent dishes. Taste the vegetable spring rolls, it's a change from all the ones you've eaten so far. Very friendly service. Better to book. Parking impossible in the immediate vicinity. But less than 500 m away, paid parking at Cours Saleya.

13/09/2024: Delicious food (crispy noodles and poultry citronelle in particular). Excellent service as well. We enjoyed it so much the first time that we came back two nights later.

16/09/2024: Endroit cosy l. Vous cherchez un vrai restaurant asiatique avec une cuisine familiale et authentique ? Alors c’est l’endroit où aller ! Une cuisine excellente sans prétention. Une note toute particulière pour le bœuf du chef sur plaque chaude, un régal !!!

15/09/2024: Had a great meal here today. It was relatively busy so the waiting time was quite long. However, food was quickly on the table. Excellent food and large portions. Too few staff on site. The staff there worked very hard.

01/10/2024: The service attitude was so bad. I brought a bottle of water on the table, but the boss slapped my arm and said I can't drink takeout. You can say it nicely, but is it necessary to do it? The service attitude is very poor! The service was extremely slow. I had to wait for more than an hour from ordering to being served, assuming there was no one queuing up.

31/08/2024: On vacation, we ate twice in this restaurant, very good dishes and good discoveries (especially if you like a little spicy cuisine). Plus the prices are very reasonable, I recommend!

23/08/2024: Franchement pour une premiere très agréablement surpris Bœuf curry rouge succulent et très bien présenté et les amis ont très apprécié leur repas poulet noix de cajou et canard laqué Pour les commentaires négatifs arrêtez de penser que tous les restaurants doivent être étoilés …. Bref je recommande vivement

19/09/2024: I have travelled the world and most of Asia and being a vegetarian is hard work in any country trust me. But this chinese restaurant has blown me away. taste , flavour, texture of the food was something i have not tasted for a long time in any restaurant. i am coming back tomorrow for lunch before i fly home. for us vegans and vegetarians out there finding a restaurant is hard but look no further. WOW . veggies, tofu and noodles .

25/08/2024: I have never written a review although I have been coming regularly to this restaurant for several years - this explains the five stars - and I will continue to come with just as much pleasure. What more can I say, other than to say that I highly recommend it.

07/09/2024: 2024: We arrived one hour early because our hotel apartment was not ready. So we borrowed the chairs outside. We were warmly welcomed by the staff 30 minutes later. We ordered a delicious evening meal. 3 different choices as we all have our preferences. Everything fresh. Meat, noodles and rice. I got extra 🌶️ chili. Strong and fresh. After a long day driving more than 500 km this was like being treated in an expensive restaurant. The difference is that this is an affordable eating place with healthy food. Later in the week I tried alternative places on same street. No comparison in the way I enjoyed Pagoda. 2023: We tried two other nearby eating places for variation, but this is the only place where I feel good after eating. We had soup, wok and rice. Thank you for healthy and delicious food. 2022: This place deserves a Michelin star. I would have liked to give it 6 Google stars. We had soup, noodles and chicken with a touch of Thai curry. The family running this business since 1999 are very friendly and helpful to advice. The food ingredients are fresh and cooked by professionals. Healthy cooking with vegetables and not too much oils. Thanks to this place I got to eat wok with noodles with a unique taste. A couple of hours later my stomach was in a good shape. It had suffered from nearby fast food since the weekend. Thank you In the evening we could not resist. We bought takeaway beef and shrimps. Cooked rice in hotel apartment. Yet another perfect meal. Amazing. Next evening we also came back to eat Ramen and Phou soup. Ordered Sushi to eat in the hotel balcony. The gentleman serving gave me extra fresh chili as I like 🔥 food. Conclusion: We live like kings in Pagoda Restaurant.

24/08/2024: Food is fresh, but average. Atmosphere is crammed. Service is quick. Have tried more vietnamese soups in Nice with more aromatic and complex flavours. The ravioli soup comes with 2 raviolis (dumplings) and few pieces of chicken and lots of vermicelli noodles at the bottom. Lacks flavour as compared to other vietnamese restaurants. No special desserts besides cut pineapple and canned lychee.

26/08/2024: Very disappointed without having expected much... duo menu at 70 euros rather meager for the price, deplorable service... waitress more than cold, no suggestion of sauces, or suggestion of dishes, hood not turned on, no smile, from the start of the meal until the bill is paid.. I have been a waiter and I know how to be objective, but this is too much, I absolutely do not recommend, good restaurants do not fight in Nice, but this one is to be avoided.

The welcome is scandalous, one would say that we are clearly disturbing them, the prices are outrageous and the height of all this is the hair that I found in my dish. I go back to see them, they are neither surprised, they don't even apologize. It’s shameful!! To flee

20/09/2024: no one is nice in this restaurant. Never a smile, never hello, NOTHING! They're lucky that their food is good, that's why there are so many people, it's absolutely not for the welcome.

23/07/2024: Salades et nems en entrées : bien. Nous avions commandé, pour moi du calamar piquant et mon mari du canard piquant. Immangeables, aucun goût ! Comment peut on prendre des clients pour des "pingouins"!!!! Quand je dis au serveur que c est une sauce en boîte, il me répond que c est de la tomate mélangée avec la sauce piquante qu'on trouve dans les restaurants asiatiques. Aucun saveur ... canard et calamars insipides. Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant. Le serveur et le cadre sont sympas. Bof bof
