12/01/2026: Excellent place, warm welcome, smiling staff, fresh food, the sushi is better than in most restaurants where it's their main focus, affordable prices, a menu with multiple choices, quick service, also available for delivery, but it's best to make a reservation to guarantee a table. I highly recommend it, ideal for friends/family/a lunchtime date. Expect to pay between €11 for a large roll, €16-20 for set menus, and €25-35 if you have a very large appetite. In 7 years, we've never been disappointed. The owner remembers all his customers, the quality is excellent, and I'll say it again: fresh food with quality ingredients (I'm a former gourmet chef, so very critical, and I hate wasting my money). I recommend it, go for it without hesitation!

20/12/2025: The best and most beautiful sushi in Toulouse is right here. The fish is delicious, the rice fluffy and perfectly seasoned. As for the coleslaw, it's so good you'll want to fight over it. Fresh pineapple for dessert is perfect.

23/12/2025: Best kimchi ever! We stumbled upon this restaurant. You should make reservations. If you don’t then cross your fingers and hope they have space for you. We ordered the bibimbap. They cooked this so well, it was perfect. They have a house made hot sauce you must use, if you like spice 🔥🔥🔥! Sitting at the counter was a great experience. We chatted with one of the cooks and shared some humor. Thank you for making our visit so pleasant 😊 we can't wait to return when we visit Toulouse again.

The person on the phone took the time to answer all my questions and accommodate my requests. The result was superb, both visually and in terms of taste: everything was excellent! 09/01/2026: As a long-time regular at this restaurant, I have to say that the quality of both the service and the food has declined significantly. Zen Sai used to be one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Toulouse, but for the past few months, it's clear that the effort has waned. The service is often slow and poor (sometimes even unpleasant), the food is less tasty, and the wasabi and ginger are horribly dry, as if they've been sitting in the fridge for days… It's still a good restaurant, but I've come to expect much better.

09/01/2026: I'm very disappointed by the decline in quality at this restaurant, not to mention the mediocre service. I don't know if it's due to a change in management, but it's a shame. I noticed that the rice they use is definitely not sushi rice. For the price, you can find much better elsewhere.
