01/10/2024: This is a cute place conveniently open near Gare St Roch but I cannot say much for the food. I am a long time ramen fan from living in Hawaii, Los Angeles and New York and there is good ramen to be found in Montpellier. But not here. Yes it is noodles in a hot broth but the taste is nothing like traditional Japanese ramen — almost a curry taste rather than simple shoyu or salt style or more robust miso or tonkatsu. People same to like the food but if you are looking for traditional ramen don’t come here.

Loïc always manages to surprise us with new flavors even after so many years.
And what's more, they always welcome us with a smile.
If you haven't tried it yet, go for it, you won't regret it!
16/07/2024: It is rare to eat such delicious burgers, made with fresh, quality products. In addition, there are also original recipes including the Italian (I think) which was prepared for me in a vegetarian version!
It’s always a pleasure to come from Lorraine to go to the Sommieres night market to enjoy their delicious burgers. and let’s not forget their homemade fries and sauce which are incredible!
The team is also great so don’t miss out!

The only downside is that it is better to come on foot or by public transport because parking is complicated in the area.
In short, I totally recommend!

30/08/2024: Accustomed to a great welcome, today I deplore the very unpleasant behavior of the person who opened the door this morning.
She told me it wasn't open.
On Google the opening time is 10 a.m. to which she replied “it’s not Google that opens, it’s me!”.
I asked her if I could wait on the terrace, she refused because she was late and didn't know when it would open....
I expressed my surprise at his lack of sympathy.
First time I saw this person but I admit that it degrades the very positive image I had of this place...

15/09/2024: Les plats sont bons mais tout est gâché par l accueil de la patronne qui nous a servi.
Ok a l impression de ne après être le bienvenu car son ton est sec et on a pas le temps de manger tranquille.
Elle nous apporte l addition sans l avoir demandé et à 22h on sent bien qu il est temps de partir.
On ne reviendra pas à cause de son accueil et toutes les personnes qui y vont on la même sensation
On sent bien que c est que du commerce et c est bien dommage

29/05/2024: Coming back from Paris, I decided to pick up some delicacies from the east.
As I didn't know where to go, I let him be guided by the beam and I chose Kim Hi.
Catering on site and to take away. Various homemade specialties. And the pleasant surprise is the approach by portion and not by weight.
I tried a wide range to discover the textures and taste ambiances.
I think I found my spot in Montpellier because everything was very good. Bravo to the cook.

26/04/2024: LISEZ JUSQU’À LA FIN;
Nous sommes venus manger un dimanche midi en famille. On est venu avec Thefork. Nous étions les SEULS clients du resto. Arrivée 12h, on est reparti à 15h. Un scandal.
Plus de 30 minutes ne serait ce que pour venir prendre commande des boissons.
Boissons arrivent 15min après
Plus d’orange pour le jus d’orange pressé, ils sont allés acheter les oranges au magasin d’à côté donc 20 minutes pour recevoir le jus d’orange.
À nouveau 30min après pour prendre la commande des plats
Les plats qui arrivent plus d’une heure après leur commande. J’ai pris une salade (plus d’œuf alors que j’avais choisi la salade spécialement pour l’œuf poché, ils me disent qu’ils me rajoutent du poulet pour compenser). Le reste de la famille avait pris des burgers. Burgers bons. Ma salade arrive encore 15 à 20min après les burgers. J’ai donc mangé ma salade lorsque tout le reste de ma famille avait fini de manger. Salade pas terrible, j’aurai même fait mieux toute seule chez moi.
Bien longtemps après vient la commande des desserts. Desserts qui sont déjà préparé à l’avance donc ils sont censés arriver vite. La serveuse revient 3x pour nous demander ce qu’on a commandé alors qu’elle l’avait noté. 15min après elle arrive avec un mauvais dessert que nous n’avons pas commandé. Heureusement qu’elle est venue vérifier 3x !! Arrivent nos desserts. Tiramisu excellent, je conseille fortement. Généreux et rassasiants, vraiment bons.
Cheesecake juste horribles, puant et un goût affreux. A tel point que mes 2 sœurs sont allées demander si ils n’avaient pas tournés et ont demandé un tiramisu à la place.
La serveuse revient en disant qu’elle a goûté le cheesecake en question et qu’il était très bon.
Arrive le moment de payer l’addition, la serveuse nous demande de payer les 2 cheesecakes et les 2 tiramisus.
Étant donné les péripéties nous avons trouvé ça culotté et un geste aurait été apprécié.
Mon père demande donc à prendre les 2 cheesecake en doggybag puisqu’il les paye. Elle lui répond : « ah bah ducoup on en a mangé un »
Mon père a donc refusé de payer celui ci.
Nous sommes venus avec Thefork, comme dit précédemment. Avec TheFork, il y a réduction sur les plats ET LES DESSERTS.
Elle nous a fait payer les desserts au prix normal. Sachant qu’ils sont aux alentours de 8€.
On s’en est rendu compte une fois parti donc on fait demi tour et on y retourne pour le réclamer. Ils nous on répondu qu’ils ont contacté thefork pour enlever leur dessert des promos mais qu’ils n’ont rien fait. Soit.
Bref, après 3h de galère pour ne meme pas se régaler, nous sommes rentrés.
Nous ne reviendront jamais.
On avait vu les commentaires comme quoi le service était long. En venant un dimanche et étant les seuls clients de la journée on s’est dit que ça irait plus vite. Mais 3h pour manger 1 burger et un tiramisu c’est juste scandaleux.
Je vous déconseille très fortement. A part si vous avez du temps et de l’argent à perdre et que vous avez pas envie de vous régaler.

26/08/2024: Best Vietnamese food in Montpellier. The meat is juicy, tender, very well marinated and has a smoky flavour - just as fresh made in a streetfood restaurant back in Vietnam - which is rare to find in Europe since they cannot use charcoal to grill the meat alongside the road here 🤷♀️ Everything tastes like homemade, the atmosphere is nice and friendly. Brought me so much joy. Highly recommend!

23/09/2024: Completely disappointed. Order placed at 8:20 p.m. which was to be delivered at 9 p.m., then at 9:20 p.m. then at 9:35 p.m. then at 9:40 p.m. then at 9:55 p.m....finally delivered when the store closed so it was impossible to call for a complaint, all the sauces taken in addition were missing; scale found in sushi. Really not up to par given the price, I don't recommend it and it will be the first and last time for me.
16/09/2024: This lady sushi has gained a regular customer, the teams are top notch, super friendly and helpful even at late hours and the sushi/chirachi are excellent
You will not be disappointed and I will definitely come back, thank you very much!

09/09/2024: I share this for Koreans.
This is a cost-effective Asian buffet commonly found in Europe.
However, it is a bit more expensive than other low-cost buffets, but there is a service where you can choose seafood or meat and the chef will grill it in a wok.
The wok part and the baking part are separate, so you have to leave them separately, but if you don't know, just give them roughly and they will distribute them to you. There are a variety of wok sauces, but Koreans recommend the spicy one. It was also possible to control the grilling of the steak.
There is no problem if you eat alone, and you can use it just like the buffets you see in Korea. As a cost-effective restaurant, giving up hygiene a bit is good for your mental health.

26/10/2023: My friend and I made a reservation to be sure of having a table. We arrived 10 minutes early to make sure we weren’t late.
Unfortunately, we were surprised to see no one in the restaurant even though it was supposed to be open and after 10 minutes of waiting there was still no one.
And given the state of the restaurant I don't regret not going there.
Luckily we didn't have to pay for our reservation.
In short, I do not recommend this restaurant!!

29/08/2024: We're not locals so we don't have any history with this restaurant but we ate really well.
We wanted good chicken and noodles and rice and we got exactly what we wanted.
The staff is very nice and we had a cheap meal for two (€30 with two menus and 2 supplements).
So we recommend, the terrace is pleasant in the shade and it’s tidy.
26/08/2024: Very very expensive for the quantities offered. Even taking the Odysseum context. I got about 16 euros for two ravioli, noodles and caramel pork. The quality is similar to most equivalent restaurants. I don't necessarily recommend even if it was far from bad, I was expecting much better.
