08/05/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times. The service was fine, and the food was good, but the last time I went, the service was terrible. We hadn't made a reservation, and the restaurant was practically empty, even though it was barely 6:45 PM. We just wanted to eat a meal and not be in a drafty room. But I'm sorry, I really don't appreciate being spoken to rudely. That's why I'm giving it two stars. I advise anyone who wants to go to make a reservation and hope they get a good waitress.

08/05/2026: I used to be a regular at this restaurant a few years ago, and I happily went back… until this meal. The chicken curry was okay, nothing special, clearly lacking in flavor compared to what I remembered, but it was alright. But the worst part was the coconut-egg flan: inedible. A sickeningly eggy taste, zero coconut flavor. I couldn't finish it, and my friend, to whom I gave a bite, was shocked too. When I mentioned it to the owner, who recognized me, his response was disconcertingly cold: "Some people like it," as if the problem was me. No compassion, no gesture of goodwill, I paid for the dish without any discount or apology. It's exactly this kind of attitude that loses loyal customers. I won't be going back.

08/05/2026: Nice little Chinese restaurant. The decor is pleasant and the food is good. I had the duck à l'orange and it was delicious. The service is quick, both for taking orders and for the food to arrive. In short, I recommend it.

20/05/2026: I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant during my visit to Montpellier. The place is truly beautiful and peaceful, and it also has an outdoor terrace where I sat and ate. The waitresses were incredibly friendly. The dishes and desserts were also delicious and beautifully presented; I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The prices weren't too high either, so it offered good value for money. I highly recommend this restaurant.

08/05/2026: The food is seriously home-style, with a real homey feel. The service is friendly, and the waitress, Celia (or someone else), I think, is welcoming and smiling. The beer is good, and the terrace, which I love, is bathed in sunshine. The tables and chairs are made of wood… a lovely terrace in the summer. The interior of the Babote Tower, dating back to the 15th century or earlier, creates a warm, slightly medieval, convivial, and romantic atmosphere. Special mention for the Thai chicken wings, which are super crispy 🥰
