26/03/2024: Restaurant discovered on the TheFork application fortunately we benefited from a -50% off-menu offer on the menu because the restaurant did not live up to our expectations. Waitress really not welcoming or smiling, very insistent on taking orders even though we have only just arrived and what's more, she doesn't know the menu when we ask two questions. It is extremely hot inside and there is very little space between tables. When we arrived there were 3 tables of 2 people, one of them was at the end and left shortly after. We waited more than 1 hour to have our dishes, plus surprises when the wok sanghai arrived, ingredients not indicated on the menu but in the dishes and others indicated which were not there. I take it to the waitress who tells me I'll find out, they tell me it's normal, it's the basis of all woks, I would have liked to know that from the start but it's not marked on the menu. For the rest, I am told that I am wrong. I bring it up again at the time of the addition because I am sure of myself and then the cook tells me, oh well, I was wrong. So apart from the parmesan pesto pasta which is good the rest is good but nothing crazy. The flavors of the wok are good overall but too spicy and it is not specified either. The base of the woks should be written on the card at least for allergens and for people's tastes. you have what the chef wants to serve you by feeling and you have to do with it and you have nothing to say. Once not twice. I don't recommend.

17/03/2024: I rarely leave mixed reviews usually. But the person who served us asked us to leave a review. So I'm going to do it this time. My partner and I went to try Le Newyorkais because we wanted to discover new restaurants. Thanks to an offer on The Fork platform, we could benefit from -50% on a selection of products in this restaurant. First surprise when you arrive there: desserts are not included in the reduction. It was indicated on The Fork "excluding menus and drinks", but not "excluding desserts". The setting is nice. We really liked the decoration of the small terrace. We started by ordering a smoothie which, despite its high price, was honestly delicious. We then ordered a pasta dish each: pesto and salmon. The prices of these dishes were 13€ and 17€ respectively. And that's where it gets stuck, especially for the pesto: paying €13 for 100g of penne with pesto and parmesan seemed much too expensive for the quantity offered. Luckily we had The Fork discount. And again, even at half price, I found it expensive. As for me, I finished my meal elsewhere 🫤 The people who took care of the service that day were quite friendly. That, we must admit :) I also give them the benefit of the doubt, because they indicated twice that "the chef (cook) was not there at lunchtime". There is a student menu for €9 on the menu which seems a little more interesting. However, the big downside regarding the quality/quantity/price ratio of the main course persists. And the main course is still essential in a meal.

11/02/2024: Very good and full of flavor. This young couple, who takes up the culinary heritage from Asia, returns to complete their training in Thailand. In the kitchen, the flavors of Vietnam. In an overall vintage setting, the blend of spices is subtle and delicious. There were 4 of us, all different dishes and we all loved it. The only downside to review: the toilets and dispenser services which absolutely need to be changed. We will come back, for sure.

29/02/2024: Came to mtp to spend a weekend with friends Nice setting the chandelier is really too big it eats up the whole place and the door was constantly open for smokers so we felt the cold not great For the food: it was good value for money And the cocktails at €6 are very good The setting is great for going for a drink in town afterwards Good service, the young lady was friendly

29/03/2024: An Asian buffet whose quality of dishes is unequal..For "real" fans of maki sushi etc., move on...because it is very disappointing... Cold self-service dishes...supposed to be hot... Industrial desserts... The self-service grill and wok dishes are decent. The cook is top notch... Smiling and attentive waiter.. A boss who is nevertheless casual, haughty and not very courteous. Friendliness is not his strong point. Allows himself a derogatory remark against us because I was leaving with a macaroon (tiny) that I had already bitten. not wanting to waste it..what's more..ordering me to finish it on the spot..after having spent more than 120 e,a 3, I find this type of remark very inappropriate... In short, very mixed opinion. We will easily find better elsewhere..especially in the city center where there is no shortage of restaurants....
