08/11/2025: We didn't make a reservation - it seems we took the last available table; note to self, in future make a reservation, because this restaurant was full.
Isabel (owner along with her chef husband) was a wonderful host and available to answer our questions about the menu; she also made an excellent suggestion for accompanying wine.
Like, it seemed, all other men in the restaurant, I went for the entrecote. It was huge, cooked perfectly (saignant, for me) and tasty. My partner went for the St Jacques and prawns, and was very happy.
Would definitely return.
23/10/2025: This is our favorite restaurant in the area, which we've been going to for almost seven years. The food is excellent, always perfectly seasoned, freshly prepared, and includes a wide range of classic regional dishes and more unusual ones (my favorite: Thai foie gras broth). The cuisine is innovative without being extravagant, and the flavors are simply divine! And it's inspiring—I want to copy several of these creations.
The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the service professional, attentive, and efficient. I'm rewriting my review, which I posted six years ago (and which was already very positive), because yesterday I ate a lamb stew that enchanted me; it was absolutely delicious. To die for! I'm delighted.
The prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend this restaurant!!! It's always a good idea to make a reservation.

Nous avons été déçus dans l ensemble
Certains des œufs mollets étaient froids.
Un des convives a été malade .
Bref une expérience décevante
04/12/2024: Un passage à midi accueil parfait et repas en formule du midi à 29 euros très très bien ,une cuisine goûteuse originale dessert de saison parfaits on est jamais déçu chez ce restaurateur d un grand professionnalisme et jetez un coup d œil sur la carte des vins cela mérite le detour

I highly recommend this restaurant! I ate there yesterday for the first time and I enjoyed it. The place is very pleasant, with a spacious, well decorated room, and a very pleasant outdoor terrace. The restaurant is also impeccably clean.
The food is excellent, from start to dessert, and everything is served with care. Angélique and her mother are very kind, which makes the experience even more pleasant. Plus, it’s easy to park nearby.
They really deserve to succeed and make themselves known. It is important to encourage them in their great adventure.

21/09/2024: Nous avons été très déçus par cette expérience gastronomique qui ne correspond pas aux avis très positifs que nous avions eu.
Entrée trop froide, beaucoup d'attente entre les plats, desserts décevants.
20/09/2024: Situé dans le prolongement du Musée "SOULAGES" (à visiter absolument), ce "Café" façon Bras propose deux formules:
la 1ère à 19e tout compris pour déguster une sorte de wrap à consommer à l'extérieur sur la terrasse.
La 2ème la la formule à 43e qui se déguste au restaurant.
Cette formule comprend: Entrée à choisir entre deux propositions, Plat à choisir entre 2 proposition ( poisson ou viande), Dessert: à choisir entre fromages ou pâtisseries.
C'est une cuisine avec un parfait mélanges des saveurs, original tartare de boeuf aux saveurs d'agrumes?, Délicieux "Framboisier" revisité de façon originale.
C'est effectivement bon, mais on doit prendre la formule complète on ne peut pas prendre Entrée et plat ou Plat et Dessert, dommage .
Le décoration du restaurant est dans l'esprit de la construction du Musée, c'est à dire un mélange de matières nobles, Acier et Cuir.
La Personne qui fait fonction de " Maitresse de Maison" Pauline est parfaite dans sa fonction: accueillante, Souriante, Efficace.
Le service est essentiellement féminin.
Très agréable repas.

The food is of very high quality, featuring beautifully prepared traditional dishes. Everything is served with good humor and friendliness.
The prices are also very reasonable, giving the restaurant unbeatable value for money.
I highly recommend this establishment, which does credit to the profession.
