11/03/2024: So where to start...the evening was so epic...let me start:
The meal:
a salmon tart that was more than dry and hard, a sausage aligot... someone should have told us that it was a dry sausage... very dry too dry? an apple cake that is different for members of the same table; some had an invisible apple cake and others had an apple yogurt cake. Small special mention for the coconut flan without coconut and without caramel.
Positive point: the shrimp pasta is very good!
Atmosphere:
A karaoke evening led by a more than unusual host...vulgar and with inappropriate comments (political/sexual...) and unpleasant with customers.
When we left we were asked to advertise...so we're going to abstain, it wouldn't be of any service...if to future customers.
Avoid karaoke nights in any case!

01/04/2024: Hello, I would like to share my opinion because at the time this was not systematic so as I wanted mussels and fries I looked at the opinions on this restaurant, since the name has changed! I realize that the service and the incompetence of the staff is always the same. We entered the restaurant and we remained waiting for well over a quarter of an hour in front of the cash register which is right in front of the door before a waitress put us at a table, at the time my first daughter was in a stroller and it seemed to annoy the waitress because she didn't know where to put the stroller for us because the tables were quite close, the meal was served very slowly and we stayed for more than an hour and a half waiting for the goodwill of the waiters because in the meantime our waitress left at the end of her shift and no one else was there. came to replace it we had to ask for the service to continue at our table and finally the fries that we asked for again arrived (which arrived cold) After the meal I was brought back the bill even though I had not asked for anything and then I asked for a dessert to teach them good manners, after bringing me the dessert they also brought me the bill again and there I asked for a coffee once again to teach them good manners because the bill is only brought back to the customer when the customer requests it! So after all these disappointments we left, we paid and not even a word of apology or goodbye at all!! I was furious, I yelled at the staff who were present, telling them that I would never set foot in this restaurant again.

There is no possibility of putting 0 so unfortunately I have to give 1 star.
Poor organization. We waited too long to be seated. The staff passes back and forth in front of us without informing us of anything. A couple walks past us and an employee installs them without any problem and they think they are doing it discreetly but we saw it. It's a lack of respect.
The waitress rolls her eyes when we speak to her and she teased us because we asked her to do what was necessary for our table which was wobbly. I hate lack of respect, especially when the customer is correct and respectful (It’s unacceptable for waitresses to behave like this)
The staff is not friendly and does not try to find solutions for the customer. If you are bitter when there are people around or when you have to work, don't work or look for a job or you will not be in contact with the Man with a capital H.
Overcooked pork and beef. Dishes filled with oil. On the other hand, the cod was very good.
Apart from that I do not recommend the Pedra Alta of this mons.
I haven't made another one and this mons we ban it, I won't set foot in a place where they don't respect me.
Question yourself, and review the training of your staff.

19/04/2024: Too bad the pancakes weren't really successful. For a creperie, we expect real savory pancakes! Sweet pancakes are very thin.
The service is OK but lacking in sympathy and communication.
17/04/2024: Not disappointed, on the contrary, a creperie that allows you to escape for a meal. We had a savory pancake and two sweet ones for dessert each, we had such a great time. I was recommended this restaurant a long time ago. My only regret is not having come sooner.

After getting rid of us as soon as our fork was put down, after bringing us the bill without us asking for it, the manager came directly with the bank terminal: the highlight of the show! It’s really a shame! It was barely 11:15 p.m., on a Saturday evening, in the Paris region…
19/03/2024: I would have liked to be able to describe my visit to the restaurant but I arrived around 8:45 p.m. and was kindly delayed because "the kitchen closed because there were only 4 seats". I just wanted a good mussel and fries for my birthday, it closed at 10:30 p.m. officially, really disappointed. A round trip VTC for nothing... I don't thank you, it's not professional.

The butcher's piece was also amazing!!!

08/10/2023: Please read the other bad reviews before going there, the good reviews are made by friends. Just look at the number of “likes” on the bad comments (there are many unlike the good ones).
In addition, he is forced to change his name every 6 months to try to save the reputation of his restaurant.
Worst restaurant I've ever been to.
The food is plentiful but super fatty.
The manager thinks he is running a Michelin-starred restaurant, even though the quality is worthy of a hospital restaurant.
The worst is that the manager is totally disrespectful and attacks his customers. He thinks he's the king and wants to hit everyone. I don't know how he still hasn't been sued.
If you are not family, a friend, or Portuguese, do not come, you risk being looked down upon and for less than nothing.

18/03/2024: We were invited to this restaurant by Portuguese people. It was a Friday evening and yet there were only two tables. The meal was not plentiful and we were disappointed with the taste. Following a vacation in Portugal, we hoped to find this pleasant and hearty cuisine, but the desired effect was not there. In addition, I find the prices poorly matched to the quality and quantity, it is too expensive. We will not return there, despite a very nice waitress.

09/03/2024: Great culinary experience in this historic restaurant in Evry Courcouronnes. I haven't been back since 2003 (in the meantime the chef has changed). We were received by a warm welcome and appetizers fresh from the oven. The chef later came to meet us to present the menu. We opt for the homemade foie gras and its chutney, the sweetbreads and the blanquette of lotte vielle France. Generous portion, fresh and quality products. For dessert, the floating island was delicious. All the ingredients for a pleasant time at the table. We feel that chef Thierry is passionate. He transmits his love of cooking to us through his beautiful plates. We had a pleasant time: thank you to the restaurant Le Canal: faultless from start to finish. Very good continuation and see you soon.
