17/10/2025: I ate on October 16, 2025 And I was disappointed The homemade fries are cut into matchsticks so cooked that it looks like you're eating chips The homemade fries are cooked in 2 batches and they are made thick They need to be small to cook only once and to go quickly but there is no quality it is better to freeze them. Kind regards

05/01/2026: Despite the staff's best efforts, the apartments are generally poorly maintained.
After a night in a dirty and poorly maintained apartment (gas hob requiring matches to light, broken bathroom heater, very weak one in the bedroom and no heater at all in another, dirty dishes...), we were moved to a newer one. The new apartment was more functional and cleaner, but still had one bedroom and a bathroom without heating, two skylights (one with a broken shutter that was closed and the other with a broken shutter that was open), and a leaky toilet in the bedroom.
It was close to a busy main road, so it was noisy.
In short, once was enough.
However, thank you to Valérie and the cleaning lady (I don't know her name) who looked after us, for their kindness.
30/10/2025: Pleasant and welcoming staff, great location (100m from the sea), the cleaning was poorly done (lots of dirt on the floor), and the mattress needs replacing.

Marylise was attentive and a huge help for our day.
We highly recommend the Cape for their parties but for your private parties as well.
You can go there with your eyes closed.

29/05/2024: We are staying at the campsite next door and saw this restaurant from the beach which looked appealing with a varied menu. It is a busy place ( so reserve) and we were not disappointed: the charcuterie board and bread was delicious as well as the 'poulpe'( octopus).. only disappointment was the vegetarian pizza which was too heavy on the cheese and light on the tomato sauce and vegetables. The drinks...apero spritz and wine were delicious. Lastly, the manager from La Rochelle was very professional.. serving the wine, asking for feedback etc. Not your cheapest paillotte to visit on your trip but well worth the stop!! Try to reserve in advance!
