26/09/2024: Really a great experience. My wife has celiac disease and therefore cannot eat gluten. We ate a tasty, delicious and gluten-free dish there for my wife. She was also able to enjoy a chocolate fondant. This restaurant has a very pleasant and welcoming terrace. Really a friendly place with excellent cuisine and real gluten-free options.

15/10/2025: We only tried the cocktails, which were few and far between because it was the end of the season.
Unfortunately, no must-have Octopussy...
Bad Spritz, according to my friend.

17/10/2025: I ate on October 16, 2025 And I was disappointed The homemade fries are cut into matchsticks so cooked that it looks like you're eating chips The homemade fries are cooked in 2 batches and they are made thick They need to be small to cook only once and to go quickly but there is no quality it is better to freeze them. 20/09/2024: Almost a presentation that bad. Caesar salad came with a raw egg, fried cardboard that I think was supposed to represent chicken, and vegetables that were borderline rotten. No expense was spared when cleaning the lettuce and tomatoes.
My girlfriend ordered a veggie burger, which looked more like a battlefield of compressed vegetables, unrecognizable cheese and brown avocado between 2 buns.
The waitress girl clearly didn't feel like it, or had drunk too much the night before. Slow, grumpy, and forgot to give us glasses with the bottle of water after it was thrown on the table with full aggression.

13/08/2024: Top-notch. For 20 years we have been coming to Calvi, for 9 years we have passed this cellar and stopped there a few times, with an impression of Disney land because it was so beautiful, very high level referencing, and we stopped there today looking for Corsican rum without much hope. And there, we came across a very commercial person, very pleasant, very empathetic, smiling, welcoming, who advised us and found what we came for, a fantastic moment. Recommended 1,000 times for the wine side, the Corsican specialties side, the “home” garden, and the sympathy.

18/08/2024: A TOP establishment! We celebrated our wedding at the Marea Resort and stayed for a few days.
We were not disappointed.
Everything was perfect: the setting, the kindness of Jean Louis Mado and their teams, the rooms, the sea view swimming pool, the bar restaurant on the beach as good as it was beautiful.
In short, if you want to have a good time, it’s here!

25/08/2024: We decided to trust Marylise and Olivier for our wedding, and we were right to do so.
Marylise was attentive and a huge help for our day.
We highly recommend the Cape for their parties but for your private parties as well.
You can go there with your eyes closed.

29/05/2024: We are staying at the campsite next door and saw this restaurant from the beach which looked appealing with a varied menu. It is a busy place ( so reserve) and we were not disappointed: the charcuterie board and bread was delicious as well as the 'poulpe'( octopus).. only disappointment was the vegetarian pizza which was too heavy on the cheese and light on the tomato sauce and vegetables. The drinks...apero spritz and wine were delicious. Lastly, the manager from La Rochelle was very professional.. serving the wine, asking for feedback etc. Not your cheapest paillotte to visit on your trip but well worth the stop!! Try to reserve in advance!
