10/10/2025: Simple cuisine, unpretentious ambiance, overpriced. The escaloppe de veau milanese was dry, and the beignets were tasteless and not freshly made.

08/05/2026: The food here was the best we tasted all week while on holiday in Calvi. The calamari with squid ink risotto was a-maz-ing.
We also enjoyed drinks in the restaurant as well as on the beach (deckchairs or comfy loungers) over several visits.
Good service and lovely ambiance.

05/05/2026: We came to this establishment hoping to have a good time, but the experience was very poor from beginning to end.
Several aspects particularly disappointed us:
• The welcome and atmosphere: The welcome was rather cold. The most disturbing thing was witnessing a waiter being reprimanded in front of customers during service. This was extremely uncomfortable for us and very unprofessional for the restaurant's image.
• Cleanliness: Upon arrival, our table hadn't even been cleaned.
• The service: We wanted to eat inside, but the staff insisted twice on seating us on the terrace. We really felt like we were bothering them by insisting on staying inside.
It's a shame, because the feeling of being a burden to the staff completely ruins the enjoyment of dining out. We do not recommend it at this time.

05/01/2026: Despite the staff's best efforts, the apartments are generally poorly maintained.
After a night in a dirty and poorly maintained apartment (gas hob requiring matches to light, broken bathroom heater, very weak one in the bedroom and no heater at all in another, dirty dishes...), we were moved to a newer one. The new apartment was more functional and cleaner, but still had one bedroom and a bathroom without heating, two skylights (one with a broken shutter that was closed and the other with a broken shutter that was open), and a leaky toilet in the bedroom.
It was close to a busy main road, so it was noisy.
In short, once was enough.
However, thank you to Valérie and the cleaning lady (I don't know her name) who looked after us, for their kindness.

The swimming pool is quite large and very well kept.

25/08/2024: We decided to trust Marylise and Olivier for our wedding, and we were right to do so.
Marylise was attentive and a huge help for our day.
We highly recommend the Cape for their parties but for your private parties as well.
You can go there with your eyes closed.

29/05/2024: We are staying at the campsite next door and saw this restaurant from the beach which looked appealing with a varied menu. It is a busy place ( so reserve) and we were not disappointed: the charcuterie board and bread was delicious as well as the 'poulpe'( octopus).. only disappointment was the vegetarian pizza which was too heavy on the cheese and light on the tomato sauce and vegetables. The drinks...apero spritz and wine were delicious. Lastly, the manager from La Rochelle was very professional.. serving the wine, asking for feedback etc. Not your cheapest paillotte to visit on your trip but well worth the stop!! Try to reserve in advance!
