11/08/2026: We tried an afternoon snack (ice cream) which was fantastic, then we came back one evening for dinner! With a mountain view, the waitresses were incredibly friendly and welcoming! It was lovely to be treated like that, and the Savoyard fondue for two was delicious.
Please note that in Les Orres, the restaurant is advertised as accepting holiday vouchers, but they don't. This doesn't detract from the quality of the restaurant at all, it's just a matter of planning ahead! You can go there without hesitation, but remember to book in advance.
09/08/2026: The dish was very good, but unfortunately quite expensive considering the portion size. The wait was also a bit long given the few customers. On the other hand, the setting and scenery are truly beautiful.

We had a wonderful meal. The waitress was very friendly, and so were the other customers ☺️.
We'll definitely stop by again on our next trip.
15/05/2026: This is a great place to enjoy the specialties of the Hautes-Alpes: savory and sweet tourtons, ravioli, and donkey ear gratin 😋

08/08/2026: We had a wonderful night in this gîte; the view from the room with its large balcony was exceptional. The meal was very good, with a superb vegetarian, lactose-free option. A big thank you! 🙏
07/08/2026: A superb gîte with excellent food, perfect for recharging after a hike while enjoying a pleasant meal. The atmosphere is friendly and the thoughtful touches in the picnic are the icing on the cake.

30/08/2026: When it's raining, a Nutella crepe and a delicious waffle make for a perfect little treat at Rocky. The staff is incredibly attentive. I highly recommend it.

We were warmly welcomed into a pleasant room with a wood-burning stove. Nice decor. A minor issue with the food, not in terms of taste, as it was good, but a beef dish served with (frozen) fries, or a so-called chocolate soufflé that, when it arrived, was a small, soft chocolate cake. So, it was good, but it's a shame that this kind of detail doesn't match the prestige of the rest of the establishment. A little more effort from the chef would add even more value to the whole experience.

17/01/2026: I stayed for 8 days and frankly it was a disaster. It wasn't clean, there were remnants from previous tenants, no pillowcases, nothing practical at all. I honestly wouldn't recommend it.
20/12/2025: It's great being right at the foot of the slopes! The room was clean and decent, however, the pool was closed on Saturdays, so I wouldn't come back because of that.
