18/07/2026: Some dishes were very tasty, others were not. The staff was friendly, but towards the end, when it got busier, they seemed to struggle to keep up (in other words, it was the person behind the bar). At the end, I had to ask for my glass of wine twice and never received it. My wife never got her cola either. We got the coffee at the very last minute.
18/07/2026: I love it! The terrace by the water is lovely, but the interior is just as nice!
They have excellent products, many of them local—perfect!

14/04/2026: We were a group of five Bretons passing through the area.
We had a fantastic time; the kebabs were truly excellent, and the atmosphere was very friendly 👍
We had a great time and chatted about the local club with the staff, who were very welcoming—a truly positive experience.
We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area again 😁

The food is delicious and reminiscent of our grandmothers' cooking (especially the tomato sauce). We even enjoyed the terrace in the evening on a lovely square in Auxerre! Go without hesitation!

09/07/2026: Finally, a restaurant that breaks away from the ordinary, the sterile, and the predictable! What a wonderful discovery! Homemade cuisine using local products, cooked over a brazier, a particularly enjoyable Burgundy wine (the Chitry, a truly delicious wine. The only slight drawback: the wine lacked a bit of the freshness of a cellar), friendly, pleasant service on the quiet terrace. A great recommendation for those who want to discover local fare, Burgundian warmth, and get off the beaten path.

15/12/2025: This Léon de Bruxelles in the northern part of Auxerre is typical of the chain: you go there without any surprises, but you know you'll get a decent meal.
The menu is, of course, focused on seafood, but offers a few options if you don't like fish. I tried the Léon Casserole, which was good, although the amount of fish was a bit small and probably frozen. Be careful with the garnish: although it says sweet potatoes, it's mostly potatoes (about 80%). The paella was okay, but it's more of a French-style paella, nothing exceptional, and the rice used isn't ideal for this dish.
Note that the drinks are quite expensive.
Overall: It's a reliable restaurant for a quick meal if you're not looking for anything original. A decent choice.
