07/05/2026: Delicious food, excellent value for money, my favorite restaurant in Auxerre.

01/05/2026: We ate here yesterday with our children on a recommendation. We received a very friendly welcome. The children's menu, at €10 (potatoes and a delicious hamburger steak), including a drink and ice cream, was fantastic value for money. The regular menu, at €30 for three courses, was the best meal we had during our trip to France. Everything was fresh and incredibly tasty!

14/04/2026: We were a group of five Bretons passing through the area. We had a fantastic time; the kebabs were truly excellent, and the atmosphere was very friendly 👍 We had a great time and chatted about the local club with the staff, who were very welcoming—a truly positive experience. 01/05/2026: On our way to Marseille, my wife, our son, and I stopped at the Restaurant de la Rivière, which we'd found after searching online. The place certainly lived up to the saying, "it's worth the detour." We found the establishment pleasant and welcoming, located on a small village square with convenient parking. Arriving around 8:00 pm on the eve of May Day, we received a warm welcome. We dined on the terrace. The atmosphere was lovely, the clientele a friendly mix of regulars and generations, the service cordial and attentive, and the homemade cuisine delicious, generous, and beautifully presented, served by a passionate chef who took the time to chat with his customers. Everything was perfect for the three of us to have a wonderful time. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

13/04/2026: The restaurant has a lovely terrace for drinks, and the owner is very attentive and gracious; he even opened his parasol for us to protect us from the rain. I highly recommend it.

10/04/2026: A restaurant I highly recommend! The owner is very welcoming and warm! The food is delicious and reminiscent of our grandmothers' cooking (especially the tomato sauce). We even enjoyed the terrace in the evening on a lovely square in Auxerre! Go without hesitation!
