24/11/2024: We tasted excellent couscous.
The waiter and the cook, like the owner of the place, were very professional.
Our dog, a Doberman, was welcomed without prejudice, the owner had placed us so that he had space.
What happiness!
23/11/2024: Small "old-fashioned" village bar/restaurant of which there are unfortunately not many left, in its original form, with local characters who regularly stop by for various drinks... and J.-Paul at the bar which serves us our pastis with kindness...
The cuisine is unpretentious, small menu with dish of the day always delicious! (It is also a hit and live betting)

23/09/2024: Take a walk along the waterfront and recoil at the prices for average food, drink and service.
Then take a walk up the alley between Spallato and Wine Pier.
Don't be put off by the basic looking place or staff.
Sit down, you will be attended to by very friendly & efficient waiters.
The food is very original & authentic.
Prepared and presented beautifully by the chef.

22/08/2024: The setting is really very nice, as are the staff. Decent cocktail, aperitif board too. But what a disappointment when we move on to the dish. We had a large party so had several dishes and none were acceptable. Between the Milanese escalope as hard as concrete, frozen fries that were also way overcooked, really poor hamburgers with overcooked steak even though we all asked for rare, and frozen frog legs just reheated which were bathed in the 'water. Frankly we need to review the cuisine which doesn't match the place at all and that's a shame! Positive point, they took our comments into account and reimbursed us for the dishes not consumed, it was the least they could do.

01/09/2024: Nous avons commandé 1 salade ceasar (correct) et 3 steaks tartares servi sans les condiments, le serveur nous dit les apporter. Nous patientons, il est seul à servir la terrasse. Comme il sert une table voisine, finalement nous lui demandons les condiments, un peu énervé, il saisi ketchup, moutardes et mayonnaise sur une table! Voilà pour nos tartares!!
Très déçus nous retournerons pas à ce restaurant .

14/08/2024: This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We opted for the €30 menu, but shortly after ordering, we were informed that only half of the options were available. The first dish we received was unrecognizable and burnt, and the second course, a kefta, was the worst I've ever tasted—overcooked, chewy beef paired with low-quality rice. For dessert, the menu promised a selection from the cart, but we were only given two choices, both of which were dreadful. The flavors were so bad they were beyond description. If I could, I would give this place zero stars.

14/11/2024: Étant convoyeur Volkswagen je suis souvent amené à venir livrer dans la région de Nice. Impossible de rater cette étape. Bons plats ( dont foie gras fait maison ) prix raisonnables decos sympa ( la pompe à bière faite à partir d un moteur de moto est top ). Accueil vraiment sympa . Et petits service ( garde de mes bagages le temps d aller me balader avant le retour à Paris ) vraiment apprécié. Bref comme à chaque passage je reviendrai avec grand plaisir.
15/10/2024: Una experiencia que no debe repetirse.
Pasé unos 15 minutos esperando a ser visto, donde literalmente fuimos ignorados por el personal.
Fui al baño y no era comestible con falta de higiene.
El empleado que nos sirvió parecía ser grosero y desagradable.
No volveré y no recomiendo este espacio en absoluto.

27/09/2024: Wow, I didn't think that was possible but it is. It was terrible, a supposed "Mexican pizza" but drowned in Algerian sauce (because why not) with chorizo (I imagine) which make an appearance, and where the pepper seems absent.
For a low price of 15€ (with drink and maybe a food infection)

29/07/2024: Small rooms, smell of chemicals, leaks in the bathroom, ordinary breakfast...meh...
24/07/2024: We stayed here for one night during our motorcycle vacation.
We were allowed to park the motorcycle right in front of the hotel and were given a very friendly welcome. The room was nicely decorated and was completely sufficient for us.
I could easily imagine staying here again on a future motorcycle tour.

20/08/2024: Une brasserie très conviviale et accueillante où se côtoient une très bonne carte et un personnel jeune hyper sympa.
Nous avons passé un super moment en famille !
Le tartare poêlé au gorgonzola est une merveille tout comme la pizza chèvre - miel 👍🏻

21/06/2024: Nous avons dîné au Saint Charles avant le concert que nous donnions Place de France à l’occasion de la Fête de la Musique.
Nous avons été impressionnés par la qualités du service et des plats que nous avons choisis.
Le personnel est très accueillant et très professionnel. Le patron et sa fille tout autant.
Nous ne manquerons pas de revenir et d’en parler autour de nous!
