L’Escaladou is a true family restaurant, open since 1976. You immediately feel the history and authenticity of the place. The welcome is warm, sincere, and attentive, while in the kitchen, the dishes are prepared with passion: a real home where everything is made with heart.
The dishes are delicious, generous, and homemade, using quality ingredients. Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the plate.
A friendly and authentic place that we recommend without hesitation. We will return with great pleasure!

23/02/2026: I'm only commenting on the food because of a plate of potatoes with cheddar and bacon. It was awful, to be honest. I saw other dishes that looked really good. The atmosphere was fantastic, the service was good, and the place itself was very stylish and attractive. Great for drinks! And for a meal... I'd go back to try something else to give it a chance.
18/02/2026: Absolutely excellent! Generous portions and perfect service. And excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area again!

31/10/2025: Solid if not exceptional food combined with an overworked waitress who was serving 5 or so tables and seeming to help with food prep as well!
18/10/2025: What a wonderful evening for our daughter's birthday. The waitresses were smiling and very attentive. Nora, the cook, was an exceptional person. The food was hearty and delicious. Thank you for this unforgettable moment 😁

24/01/2026: A very pleasant brasserie in the center of Arles, where I went for a business lunch.
Despite the unavailability of some of the dishes I ordered, I was offered an alternative that I absolutely did not regret: chicken skewers with vegetables and mashed potatoes—a real treat.
The caramel tiramisu was excellent.
The restaurant has a lovely, verdant setting.
The young woman who served me was very friendly.
I highly recommend this place. 😊
17/01/2026: It's a very pleasant place and everyone who works at L'Arôme is wonderful. I highly recommend it, whether you're just looking for a coffee or anything else.
The menus are excellent and the prices are attractive 😀.

02/02/2026: I went to this little bar on Place du Forum twice for lunch.
Each time I chose the daily special. The first time it was excellent (fried sausages). The second time it was quite good. The service varies depending on the person, from very friendly to a bit reserved. I can live with that.
Sitting on the terrace in the sun during those cold early January days was heavenly, especially since I was clearly sheltered from the wind.
