Passing through Arles, we decided to have dinner at this family-run establishment, which has been in business for 50 years.
Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome with its charming Arlesian accent, to the service, the decor, and especially the quality (and quantity 😁) of the food.
We enjoyed the bull specialties (the brochette, the burger, and the daube) – a real treat!
Don't hesitate to discover this restaurant; you won't be disappointed.

L'Escaladoou is an Arles institution; the food is excellent, the dining room very pleasant, and the service impeccable. However, I would recommend it only for meat lovers, especially those who enjoy bull meat and Camargue rice, which are indeed superb. The other dishes are a notch, or even two, below. The desserts are decent.

I discovered this restaurant by chance and had a wonderful time enjoying fresh, local cuisine and very generous portions.
They run a family business and clearly love what they do.
I highly recommend it, especially since the route to get there is right next to the bullring.

While on holiday in Arles, we stumbled upon this restaurant.
We were lucky enough to have a meal there. And what a treat! Fresh, local produce cooked with passion. The owner is incredibly kind and attentive, and her daughter is in the kitchen. The beef stew and the rib steak are truly delicious.
The restaurant and restrooms are very clean. They can accommodate large groups of up to 100 people.

First know they do not speak any English or any menus in English so better have a good translate phone app. The Bouillabaisse was first overpriced at 47 euro for what it was like 1 shrimp in it. Anyway the best places you need to make reservations well in advance.
