I went there twice during my stay in Arles, and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. Both the quality and quantity were excellent. However, I do have two minor personal observations. First, when the dining room is full, it gets very hot and the air quickly becomes stuffy—perhaps a ventilation issue. Second, during one dinner, a couple came in with two very large dogs, which forced me to cut my meal short, as I am sensitive to smells. Despite these minor issues, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Simply superb in every way: food, service, atmosphere. Every visit is a real treat. Excellent regional dishes, generous portions, all homemade by Marina. Delicious local specialties. A must-try.

We had a fantastic time at L’Escaladou! The team is really friendly and welcoming. The dishes were excellent, generous portions, and full of flavor. You can tell they're homemade. Honestly, I have nothing but praise; I recommend it 100%!

The star of the show was the best fish soup you could hope to find, with the daube de taureau a close second. An honourable mention to the staff who coped with féria crowds admirably - helpful, good-humoured and efficient throughout.

We chose this restaurant to try some local specialties: it was perfect! A warm welcome, generous and delicious local dishes 😋… we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! An added bonus: it's a family business, established for 50 years! Everything is there for a great evening and a wonderful meal 😋

14/03/2026: A truly pleasant experience in the center of Arles: this French burger joint is truly delicious. The guys who run it are super friendly and welcoming. The burgers are all made with local, top-quality meat. A great choice if you're unsure. Highly recommended!

The prices are affordable, the same as fast-food chains but much better and with more generous portions! A big thank you to the two people who served me; they were very friendly and professional.

29/03/2026: A meal in a courtyard, under a pergola, around a bread oven. Nothing particularly special about the food. A charcuterie platter as a starter. Meats cooked over a wood fire in the bread oven, decent. All very generous portions. The wine list was nonexistent. The names of the estates weren't even listed. We ordered a 2019 Château Puech Haut white, past its prime, where all we could taste was the oak. We went there more for the atmosphere: a relaxed, informal setting with a family-run, open-air café feel, and a friendly welcome. Live music, unfortunately (for us) not gypsy jazz that day. A few couples were dancing to 70s music.
06/03/2026: A very friendly, very welcoming, and completely unique place. Gypsy-Spanish music. We love it ❤️
